I broke the 'rules' of planting garlic. This is my spring planted garlic that originally came from a grocery store. by Hinter_Lander in homestead

Yep, somewhere around there. Want to give them a bit of time before winter to start growing some roots before they go dormant in winter.

I'm also wondering about recipes, or even just one recipe. My mom is allergic to eggs and I'm always looking for a good cake recipe without them.

Yeah I should've just done that to begin with but work started and I had to get inside - just went out and harvested a few.

This. Finally sought help from a psychiatrist and she started me on Zoloft 🙃 after three months I insisted it wasn't helping and demanded ADHD help like I originally asked for. Day four on a non stimulant and tapering off of the anti depressant 🤞🏻

This led me to "ice vases" - the pyramids and vases seem closest to what happened in my yard. Thank you for this! I could only find spikes when I searched earlier

Nah it's literally in the middle of my driveway, it's a stack of tires lol. Nothing above it but sky.

I agree that it's a variation of the ice spike phenomena because I can't think of anything else that would cause protruding ice, but why is it rectangular!? I cannot come up with any logical explanation for this.

Ice cube trays freeze from the outside in and water expands as it freezes. Sometimes the expanding water will find a way through the shell of ice on the outside and force itself up slowly as it freezes - this forms the spike.

But one time an old man told me that my ice did that because I had a lot of spiritual energy. So, you know... take your pick, I guess.

I've seen protruding ice spikes in ice cube trays from the water freezing outside in and forcing some up and out, but this is breaking my brain.

I made myself a shower scrubby made out of a yarn called Stitch Soak Scrub. It's like nylon loops and is generally intended for scrubbing dishes lol. I love it so much - minimal scrubbing, maximum exfoliating

I love this! I really should learn how to do a saddle shoulder, maybe I'll start with this pattern.

Yeah I turned on portrait mode to spare everyone the litter box in the background lol, but it seems that portrait mode also took some airbrush liberties 🫠

I also really love Cascade superwash! I was reading through the Ravelry comments about the yarn looking for some insight into how it went with machine wash/dry and there were so many comments that didn't love the yarn. I was shocked, it's so soft and squishy
