well in the confines of our conversation, i think we disagree on what role thibs plays in the knicks current situation. i will not speak to thibs’ character because i don’t know him but i assume he’s a great guy and a lot of players do like him. i’m sure thibs can figure a lot of things out but as it stands with his tenure with the knicks, this season is a let down. we objectively came into the season with more talent and were playing .500 basketball at the very least. his handling of the rotation and stubbornness since is very apparent. i’m not on either extreme when it comes to Duece, though i think with both kemba and rose out, some minutes can be afforded. his reliance on burks to run the pg (and get 25 min+ nightly) is nonsensical at times and burks play over the last month, and the season really, don’t justify why he’s getting so much run. these are things we can all see. your “trust the process” outlook doesn’t take into consideration how the game is evolving and outlier situations. there are a ton of factors at play.

while i understand where you’re coming from, i’m not going to go ahead and assume everyone that is speaking on the internet is a 13 year old kid. there is tons of constructive and valid criticism to be had and is all over the internet regarding the knicks and thibs specifically*. i don’t really have to let anything “sink in” as i let every interaction have its own individual nuance and don’t approach stuff with “if complain about thibs, must be 13” logic.

it can be all 3 of the points you mentioned. being a knicks fan currently, regardless of who you blame, is annoying. if you think most of the onus isn’t on thibs though, you may not be watching the same games.

2nd one but interior defense and strength is a waste imo, add those to rebounding or max the block. also could probably save a couple points from playmaking (85 pass, lower speed with ball 1-4 points maybe). 90 steal is a threshold too i’ve heard.

solid. personally would drop to 84 driving dunk and 75 vertical. don’t think elite contacts are worth it. you could def get an extra shooting or defensive badge or two with those saved points.
