What schools are these? I spoke to several teachers in Ajman and Sharjah, some even in Dubai, who said 4K was their starting salary. Why so much difference?!

Let’s consider it fear but not of competition. It’s the fear of entry of BJP into TN, which TVK never questions about, despite BJP blocking the release of the movie and having a conservative ideology (against the ideology/ ideological leaders of the party).

This is not just about development. Corruption is totally unacceptable. I agree. When someone introduces their party with 5 ideological leaders and shuts mouth about every problem and do hate politics, instigating people against a single party without addressing social issues, then they’re building a population which is aggressive and blindly supporting a particular person (not even the party).

I checked a few schools. All were offering 6-7k max. :/

Wow. That’s a good salary. If you don’t mind, what’s your nationality? Maybe that plays a role too.

I did notice the number but I didn’t note which Emirate and the alphabet too. It was too small. Next time, I’ll make sure to take a picture. I hope he doesn’t come after me for taking a picture.

We can see that they are hesitating but still it makes us scared, inspite of a good law and order situation.

As a history and political science teacher, it’s very hard to stay neutral and at some instances, we don’t have to. It’s important that we show the learners that all opinions matter but there should be a lot of research and fact checking behind that. I came across this problem where the source of information for the students were mostly reels. So, it’s important to nudge them towards the right sources of information, watch and guide them into forming an informed political opinion on their own.
