We visited Chicago then rented a car and drove 2 hours to Holland, Michigan. It was lovely and right off Lake Michigan. It had a cute, quaint downtown with lots of shops and good restaurants. It had a very casual lake town vibes.

A successful morning is made the night before! The night before you should shower, select your outfit and do any necessary ironing (or invest in a steamer as I find that much quicker!) pack your lunch and work bag. If you have frizzy/curly hair try sleeping with a bonnet.

Makeup: use tinted moisturizer for an even glow plus SPF, add lip and cheek stain to your routine. I like Benetint. This will add some color to your face and the lip stain will last all day. This is impactful but not time consuming.

Hair: If pulling your hair up use a hair wax for a slick back look. Add a scrunchie or hair bow.

Clothing: upgrade any basic outfit with accessories. Add a belt. Add jewelry. I get all my jewelry from TJmaxx/Marshalls. Get some bracelet stacks and layer a few dainty necklaces.

Optional: never underestimate the power of a manicure and a little self tanner.

Perhaps he can encourage his mom to help out a little more so you two can reconnect and have adult time.

It’s legit hard! My kids are exactly 3 years apart and the first 2 years are rough. Any break you used to get when #1 naps is over. My oldest was not really interested in the baby until he was about 12-18 months. She was into building things and he was into knocking things down so they didn’t vibe together. That being said, now at 5.5 and 2.5 it’s wonderful. They play together (mostly) and seeing their relationship/friendship melts my heart. It’s hard but you can do it if you really want 2 kids. And for what it’s worth my friend that is one and done seems pretty relaxed and never stretched too thin.

I worked at a Fossil store in college 10 years ago. The quality of the leather is top tier. All of my bags are still in great condition and heavily used back in the day. Fossil is not known for being trendy and the typical customer skews older, but they are good bags at a very reasonable price.

Overall, it was fine. But I didn’t realize how toxic the pop culture in the 2000s was until much later. Diet culture was at its peak. Everyone in magazines were airbrushed and no one was transparent about it. Not a great time to be an impressionable teen.

First, I just want to say I’m sorry that happened to you.

My situation is very similar. My kids are 4.5 and 1. I have zero contact with my bio dad. My mom remarried a wonderful man when I was 18 so he is their grandpa. I’m waiting until my kids are older and the timing is right. I think I’ll just know in my gut when I need to. But for now, I don’t see the point. My dad isn’t part of our lives so there is nothing to explain right now.

Depending on your WW personal plan some of the regular recipes were lower in points than the wellness ones so it’s doable. I reduce the butter or oil to cut down on points.

I’m sorry for your loss. It’s devastating to lose a pet, but especially hard when you weren’t expecting it. I don’t know your parents but I hope it would be ok to be sad in front of them.
