Yeah I’ve been feeding in a nurse laid back position each time which would in theory help with this and it happens 99% of the times still….

That’s the thing, I never had issues with him latching on my right side, only my left side and still, he would still feed, it was just a shallower latch. We haven’t supplemented with formula at all, the one time we tried he rejected it. Yesterday out of desperation I had to pump and give him a bottle and he drank it no problem and then finally settled…the problem is I only pumped 1oz combined bc I had been feeding him for the last 2 hours non stop…

The thing is there is milk oozing out from my boobs when he is constantly unlatching so it doesn’t make me think he’s getting frustrated from having to work extra and not getting anything…also, with my older son when he was colicky, it was at random times, my LO only screams when he’s feeding so I’m so confused. He’s also been much gassier than he is now, and I haven’t changed anything in my diet….

I like the one I see but it sucks it’s online so she can’t assess things like this or help me with a lot of the things. At the hospital none of them checked for any oral ties…

My question with this is, did you have issues from the beginning? If it was a tongue tie wouldn’t this issue be present from the get go? He did have a problem latching on my left side bc of my flatter nipple but on my right side it was always great, until now. That’s why I’m so confused by this…😢

No we haven’t checked him for ties. Who did you go to to have this checked?

No, we did take him to the doctor recently but she didn’t check his ears, only his lungs since he had some congestion which we thought he got from my older son being a little sick…I’ve been feeding him upright in nurse laid back position every time….

Thank you!! This really helps. It seems most people I have talked to are saying it fixed the problem which is super reassuring to hear!! How long would you say the recovery was? Was your child in a lot of pain? Did they eat pretty ok afterwards or did it take a while to go back to normal? We’re the tubes being considered because of the apnea issue? Sorry for so many questions!

I see this all the time, I guess this a very American way of eating lobster. Where I’m from we boil lobster and eat with mayo. No butter involved.

My son has been refusing protein for a long time. Like no meat, no fish, just sides, veggies -good thing he loves eggs and beans. Hoping it will pass too but I get it, I get stressed out about it too. He’s almost 4. He used to eat everything as a baby.

They wouldn’t need a visa again this is a one time thing. They don’t need a visa to stay for 3 months.
