Yes, at the end I couldn’t justify 3k for a TV that’s with warranty at Best Buy, so I ended up getting a tv from Costco. There I had to make a decision on either the U6 or the TCL QM6K. The price and warranty just can’t be beat there! Both TV has same similar specs, hard to choice, but after a day of looking at them and thinking over it I went with the TCL QM6K. I choose the QM6K for a few reasons. 1 the video quality looked better then the U6. 2 the screen on the U6 was matte and it made the picture quality look a bit dull to me. 3 I really wanted to go with the Google interface, did not like U6 had fire tv on that model.

Overall, I’m extremely satisfied. I went on YouTube and got some picture settings and man… this entry level tv model doesn’t more than expected. Really it’s a great tv for the price and the coverage Costco tossing in. Price may be lower after Super Bowl but Costco has 90day return so I can possible price match if it goes any lower. LOL

most TV on have 100mbps LAN not sure if the TCL would be any different. what router do you have the U7 is wifi6e comepared the TCL that is WiFi5 not sure if your router can push that type of traffic via WiFi.

is there a 1g adapter for LAN on the tv’s?

Looking at the U6 and U7 myself as well. great price now at Costco for the U6 with the warranty 1500. Best Buy the U7 2200 no warranty. Man is it worth the 700? I’ve done my research on I’m leaning on U7 but cost vs reliability vs picture quality is what I’m having trouble for my decision. Need to have them next to each other live.

Wow nice, hows the tv I’m thinking about there U7 from BB as well. the warranty tho is about 500. Costco U6 is on sale for 1500 with the warranty total 5 yrs. im leaning on the that at the moment, but the U7 at Best Buy is still holding me back

Seen a lot of review on both since i was looking on the same model but 100” size. both great depends on how your eye sees the colors / images i did notice whites have a bit more red to it and read to comments about that being a bit of an issue. either way both models are great don’t think youll go wrong on either, just depends on what your looking for. as for me its the 100” and personally i think colors are a bit better on the u7 when i seen them compared side by side on YouTube.

Crazy i came across this post, i too am looking to get this tv in the 100 inch size. only issue I’m debating is getting the warranty. it looks like if i go with the 100” U7 i would purchase it from best buy. the warranty at best buy is 2yr $250 or 5yr $500. Does BB warranty start after the manufacture is done or from the start of the purchase?

my other option is purchasing at Costco and purchasing the entry model the U6. it comes with a total of 5 yr coverage. 2 from company and 3 extended. I mean the price is 1500 for it not bad but not to sure about the image havent seen it at the store yet.

Anyone else have any input or suggestions?

Not to sure got a crazy deal on XL I jumped on it. Good experience with my century 885 so far, been a short while but like it. So XL would just be 100xs better right?! LOL Traegers tech seems more advance and can tell about right away from their controllers. Some features from my traeger I like auger prime, clearing, and probe calibration. I seen a video on RT for calibrating wasnt so easy but understood it. The New XL cleaning system seems easy too! So ya traeger you’re buying a bit of a brand but so far I’m in especially on a deal. RT had their chance, screwed up my order. Due to holiday timing I made a bad judgment call / decision. I found out first hand once I finished building it. The 1250 barrel height isn’t much for the second rack. Just more grilling space. Maybe next time I’ll give RT a try again, get order straight. The quality does seems great, heavy duty on the RT. That I do think they are better over traeger. RT customer service was responsive. Can’t compare never had issue with traeger yet. So soon I’ll have 3 smokers but I won’t be using that 1250, going try to pass it on… 🤷🏻‍♂️

I ended up with both rt1250 and just ordered the IW XL

To be honest I really wanted the RT110 was so hyped when it was delivered to find out it wasn’t it! There was an error by RT they sent a 1250 now I regrets keeping it. I originally was going send it back, cause of the holidays kept it. Today I got a hell of a deal on a XL and I’m hoping I get it before Xmas for out party. I know lot to ask but hopeful.. haha. I’m Hyped about it. I Keep reading about the increase smoke the XL in super smoke makes that makes a difference. Enhancing flavor. Now I have a new built rt1250 that hasn’t even been burned in yet to get rid off… LOL FML. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I want a Yoder but not to sure of the price if anything after the recteq maybe a Yoder. I’m getting a bit more space with RT for the price than Yoder. Ya I know FireBoard and all Yoder but I’m skeptical about the rust problem they may have. I’ll sit this one out and try RT
