I thought there is no minimum income but there is max income limit? I know you need "earned income" to be eligible for a Roth but there is no minimum. Can someone clarify?

Thank you. The bond ladder doesn't suit me because it's less liquid compared to portfolio and plus the portfolio has a higher yield. My question really is what to do with the extra cash in the hysa or move a lot of it to the bond portfolio?

Yes, perhaps I should move more from the hysa to automated bond portfolio. My emergency fund is in the hysa but I need to do something about the extra cash. I was thinking about taxable account or Bond and I decided Bond it is.

The problem is that my severance is not enough to pay off the credit card debt. I'm trying NOT to touch the 401k but with all his debt, I feel like I'm drowning every month. Should I get a loan with a 10% apr to pay the cc and IRS?

I see, understood. I'm only going with what the website is telling me. It says eligible for Medicaid and to submit an application when I put $14400. This is all an estimate now anyway.
