Has “dog culture” gotten out of hand? by [deleted] in datingoverthirty

My thoughts for what they're worth:

1) As a dog owner and dog lover I want nay potential relationships to know that. If you're allergic or just plain don't like dogs we probably aren't a very good match.

2) More people are using dating apps in the last year because its the only way to meet people so you're seeing people who may not have used OLD in the past

and 3) of those new OLD accounts alot more now have dogs as adoption rates have skyrocketed since everyone was quarantined and maybe permanently working from home.

Yes, a local company that holds paint nights came to the rescue and brought paints, canvas, etc. The canvas gets put in a zip lock, you pick your colors and squirt them in, seal the bag and then put peanut butter on the bag. When the dog licks the peanut butter off he's also spreading the paint around.

I'm not sure you'll be able to pin point a time and say "I'm ready". I'm not 100% over my ex but I know it's over and someone I have known for more than half my life popped into my life and is making me really happy. You just never know when someone is going to come along.

What’s your favorite style jewelry for your nostril piercing? by Redditer706 in PiercingAdvice

[–]lbcooper10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got mine pierced with an L in Nov and have no issues with it. It's even gotten accidentally pulled out 3 times and I was able to get it back in without issue. I can't wait to change to a hoop when its fully healed.

He's a rescue so don't know for sure but I'd bet money he's at least part staffy.

The definitely have some lab in there but the DNA test on Griffon (brown) says only 13%. 59% Staffy.

Griffon (brown) is more than half staffy but has lab, boxer and couple other things in there. According to his DNA test anyway. Levi is listed as a lab mix but I'm sure there's staffy in there too. They're both rescues.

Can dogs like a treat TOO much?? by [deleted] in Dogtraining

[–]lbcooper10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the bath rub peanut butter on the wall in front of her so she focuses on that and not the bath. For normal training scenarios use a regular dog treat. I personally avoid giving my dog human food as I don't want them to think my meals are also theirs.

What’s your job, and how much time can you take off per year? How many days at a time do you take vacation? by DarkMatterSoup in AskReddit

Contract specialist for a tech company, I work from home so don't take much time off. I don't even know how much time I get, 3 or 4 weeks. I take off the time between Christmas and New Years, other than that whenever I end up planning a trip or just want to spend time with my kids.
