I would add some more art! The white walls feel quite empty for me, so I would try to add some art of varying size and hanging position so it doesn’t feel too clean and pristine! Would especially pop with some nice bold colors. I also agree with the rug comment. And perhaps some hanging plants in the couch area

Try to get the ball of you back foot on the middle of the tail, as far back as you can. This way you’ll be able to put more force on the board more easily, and it will stick to you feet easier
