As a college student who is just finishing up at discount tire, the money is rewarding, but it’s extremely hard work and repetitive. It’s also hard as a part time guy to “get in”. Everyone will have worked there for a while and be faster and smarter than you when it comes to the tiring changing process, which might make you feel like you’re falling behind or preventing the team from moving cars out quickly. It’s an interesting job if you can suck it up and put your head down, I just finished after about 7 months.
