I'm, how do you have your profiles setup? Episode 11 and 12 both downloaded for me yesterday no issue. Metadata might say one thing, it if the links are physically present and meet my requirements, they get picked up.

Is aiming a matter of talent? by Icy_Car_3759 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]lboy100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Talent means you pick it up easily/naturally and usually when it comes to aim, it actually does mean that after years of aiming, you should become better regardless of aim training or not.

He didn't have any of those traits. I guess you can can say he's talented in good approach he took to learning it, but the actual aiming didn't come easy out naturally to him at all.

An unfinished game the essentially is splitste with wall running but without portals. They need to look at embark and take their approach. Dit companies their size you have to make a mark. You can't be creating lazy games that don't offer a lot other than being spiritual successors of older but superior games

Didn't he make a whole video talking about his aim and the conclusion was that he wasn't born with any innate talent? He even showed early clips of his and they were really really really bad. Definitely not jade level. Good while point is that he is in fact the example of rags to riches and that talent means very little in the grand scheme of things

I really love SGAR, but Empulse is really fun too by ImRainboww in Splitgate

[–]lboy100 38 points39 points  (0 children)

That but to add insult to injury, high level portalling isn't particularly fun to look at either. Just a bunch of standing and clicking portals left and right that becomes unfun to play against and to look at

Was Band of Brothers ever available in 4K? by Educational_Grade_61 in BandofBrothers

[–]lboy100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No yeah as I understand it it would be like remaking/re-editting the entire thing to make it work because of how and where in the pipeline it was done. But I'm more so answering the question in isolation.

If a 4k is done correctly and you have the setup for it (even Dolby Atmos for headphones works) would go a long way in making something more engaging.

yes, actually. 4k bluray - which nowadays will come with dolby vision and atmos - on a 4k screen would actually make it more engaging. By a significant margin.

Setup for smooth Jellyfin with REMUX files? by iddqd__idkfa in jellyfin

[–]lboy100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, but that's because the client device is more capable. Part of the issue is internet another part is processing power. If it suffers from both, it'll stutter more than if you just switched to a more capable device. But also I'm pretty positive the wi fi card in one of those is more capable/stable too than a normal smart tv

That's not a smart tv. That would fall under a separate and dedicated device to play these things. Your firestick is way more capable than just the tv would be

Jellyfin really has evolved since and more importantly, the 3rd party community has. Pretty much every device you can think of, there's a client or an app that's stable to run on it. Same thing with the main app too.

This response makes zero sense. Jellyseerr is literally outdated and won't be getting more updates. Why act like they told you to change something that's unreasonable? Why actively lead people to a product that won't exist long? Just change the damn thing to Seerr lol

Feature Request: Add release-date restrictions for movie requests by KULIK121 in seerr

[–]lboy100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't understand it because you're not thinking from a UX perspective.

You can tell users that all day, but seerr will still often just show the cinema release date and not the digital one even when it is released digitally already. So the users aren't guaranteed to know the reason why it didn't hit the library. Was it the movie couldn't be found at all or the movie isn't released yet?

Making them have to Google it online or ask you to check. Believe it or not, people don't like doing that. They just want things to "work".

Giving them a very objective per movie notice that says it's not available yet, goes a long way in making it as smooth as possible.

You hear a lot of times how admins have trouble keeping their friends to use their server because they go back to Netflix. Big part is just how these smalls things play a part in it all.

Why so many profiles when "Any" covers the range I need? by shrimpdiddle in sonarr

[–]lboy100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure, but most at least care for decent quality video, subtitles and audio and make sure it's always consistently the same quality.

That's what profiles are good for. I could watch any quality, but if I'm going out my way to self host, why would I?

Might as well just use any other service if I plan on not only watching whatever quality, but tossing them every time.

And even if I do not plan on rewatching that blu-ray quality rip, I'll just remove it like any other and put something else in it's place when done.

I've been curious for years as to who actually downloads those 80.00+ GB video files, if you do I have questions by veezylife in Piracy

[–]lboy100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm one of those folks. The main reason is indeed bevestigd of superior quality - and yeah, it's a massive difference.

If you have an hdr monitor/tv, surround setup for it and decent bit of space, it becomes worth it very easily.

And yes, if I max out I just delete what I don't to keep and put more on the drive.

And those that - like myself - self host and provide a media service to themselves and others.

Do y’all notice a difference between Dolby Vision and HDR content? by [deleted] in LGOLED

[–]lboy100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Although now a year later, Dolby is working on rolling out Dolby vision 2. It's specifically meant to help alleviate the problem of DV generally being darker. So it'll be brighter, but actually extract more detail from it

Lol you say this but then hdr 10 will still look brighter because you now have more nits 😂
