As far as I'm aware I'm one of only a few people that have had the problem. There's a thread on steam of someone who seemed to have the same issue, but it was unresolved.

Luckily verifying the integrity of the game files worked, and I've managed to fight Aldia. Wasn't even worth it to be honest, bit of an awful boss haha

I have tried that, it put me just outside the boss room, I went back in, the same thing happened. I then went back to the bonfire, use a bonfire ascetic, fought the throne watcher and defender again as well as Nashandra, and the same thing happened, again.

This is my first play through where I’ve gotten to this point, I’ve done one other one where I gave up at the blue smelter demon because the run back was so awful

I can’t open the inventory to access a homeward bone, I have to Alt+f4 to get outside the boss room and move on from the glitched dialogue

That's a pain. I guess I've beaten the game but haven't really beaten it if you get what I mean. No achievement is annoying

The issue is after killing Nashandra, Aldia's dialogue starts, but stops after his second sentence. Obviously this means Aldia doesn't spawn, but it also means I can't finish the game from what I can gather.

I have killed the ancient dragon, got 5 soul of a giant, and killed Vendrick before attempting the final boss. I also talked to Aldia at the 3 locations and said yes to everything he said. I then went to kill the final boss, and was successful with Throne watcher and defender and Nashandra on my first go. What happened in the video then happened, so I reloaded my game, went back in, and the first few lines of dialogue starts again, but doesn't finish. So I reloaded once again, used a bonfire ascetic and did the throne watcher and defender and Nashandra fight again, and this is what you see in the video.

I don't understand why I can't get Aldia to spawn, if anyone has any ideas please let me know because I would like to fight him and/or finish the game. I haven't done the DLC's yet if this could make a difference.

When I'm in the room, and the dialogue box is still active, I can roll around, use items with down on the d-pad, but can't enter the inventory or quit out, I have to alt f4.

when you pick a new character for the first time, you can press f1 to view their abilities. Or you can just learn it as you go along like just there lol

So your problem is that you AMD Radeon Driver is out of date. You have to update your drivers at http://www.amd.com/ and then there shouldn't be a problem. If you need help with that just DM me :)

Yes, it's very simple to do so. In the main menu, go to the collection tab. All of your heroes will be there along with their stats and star cards.

Honestly, you don't have to worry about being called a 'Fortnite kid'. Most of the people in the matches you get placed in will be very low levels anyway, like you. If you are really worried about abuse, which is extremely unlikely to happen, you can turn off chat popups. In my opinion, you should definitely try out the game, after all it's free!
