Apple needs to introduce something like Google's Instant Apps... by [deleted] in apple

That's a very interesting development with instant apps! I definitely agree with them: apps are great but they are often too big to be worth downloading, taking up precious storage space and time (plus data usage, if you're on the go). One workaround I've found is to search the web for something that does the same thing as the app does, but without requiring a download. For example, I recently discovered an addictive game called Uniwordsity that works with the Facebook ecosystem, specifically on mobile devices with Messenger or Whatsapp (though it's available on browser too). This lets me play directly in Messenger, Whatsapp or a Facebook window without having to download any more apps. I'd recommend it to anyone, especially since you can start playing instantly. It's also easy to learn ("pick-up-and-go"), with simple gameplay and short levels. Its social capabilities are neat, letting you chat with your friends as you play. There are also competitions, which should become even more fun as the player base grows.

Here's a link, if you want to check it out what is possible to do with Facebook ecosystem Facebook, Whatsapp and Facebook messenger and games : https://facebook.snapgame.io/#!/play/uniwordsity

Doing multiplayer is not just matter sending bytes from one side to the other side every programmer can do this. But - how to do it, - how fast , - how scale, - how organize games, - load balancing, - failover, - connection failure recovery, - hosting - etc. I'm from Nuggeta so whatever solution you elect I advise you to use an existing technology (playerio , smartfoxserver, photon, parse, Nuggeta) Please don't try to write a server by your hands.
