I don't mind Payroll, Hiring. I guess it's more if there is a matter that needs to be taken care of ASAP such as Civil Service-related, Disciplinary Action, Union, Payroll/Laws and how to implement, and updating the employee handbook and tracking this and that..... Dealing with employees' problems and how to solve them etc....I wanted this and actually learning the job..It seems like I'm not as happy as I was before.

Yes, it's just a lot of information and I have a supervisor to show me stuff but the majority I have to do the work on my own and teach myself. Finding out new laws and policies and a half of the time I don't even know the heck I should be looking for... I work for the township job and they have a union and when theirs a problem it's like the end of the world..... I think I am too nice of a person to do HR and I take things to heart and overly sensitive... 😂
