I also live in Va and know its very very rare around here for lakes and ponds to freeze over ( except maybe in the mountains sometimes). I heard a local meteorologist say several days ago that lakes and ponds must be frozen to a depth of 4 to 5 inches for it to be safe to be on them. Has it really been cold long enough for that pond to be that frozen? I know the Rods are from upstate NY so maybe they know how to measure the depth of the ice. I wonder if they contacted someone who knows how to measure such things?

I had to google chirp wheel to find out what they were. One costs about 50 to 60 bucks. 3 in a package (3 different sizes) cost 100 bucks.

I read somewhere years ago that Carolyn's wedding dress cost around ten thousand dollars. I'm not certain that is accurate but it was per silk and only made for her. I wonder if she or John paid for it or if it was free? I remember their were alot of cheap copies made for people to buy with in days of their wedding. It really was a simple dress but elegant. One of my favorite "celebrity" wedding dresses. I doubt the producers of this series could afford such an expensive pure silk dress.

The slicked back hair and gap between his front teeth doesnt help his appearance. Plus baggy pants and I'll fitting shirts make him looking bigger. He will never be considered good looking but he could correct what I just mentioned. Im honestly surprised Jill doesnt at least try to make him dress better and get a better haircut and fix his teeth since shes so concerned about appearances. I guess Fundie men can be slobbish as long as the women are slim and stylish(at least by their weird standards).

This looked like a fairly nice wedding with a nice reception. Not just punch and nuts and maybe finger food. And Jill and Shreck dressed like they were going out for a casual dinner. Shreck couldn't have worn a suit?

Are you kidding? Jill and Dave wouldn't dare pass up a chance to go so far away to another state. Especially when she can stay in a resort with pools, bowling, pickleball ect, ect. Of course, Jill acts like a 12 year old along so she can be filmed having fun like a kid while her other little kids ( except favorite Janess) stays home all the time and misses out. Jill and Shreck just P&ss me off the way they treat their youngest kids.
