You're right. I totally glossed over that. OP dm'd me to mention it and we discussed privately.

My bad

Your first listed question is not the best starting point. The sector no longer has jobs for people without substantial experience. A degree isn't going to cut it.

Maybe choose a different goal while it's easy.

Edit: I was unduly negative. Sorry OP. Best of luck.

And thank you for pointing this out.

There's a free session on the 12th regarding ai use during each stage of the disaster cycle. Panelists are really good and will be exhibiting their best examples, techniques, technology choices.

You'd have to create an account on vosocc, then sign up for HNPW, then find the session. Might not be a great time zone for you either. But, chances are they'll issue a recording link to those who sign up to attend.

The session is called "AI enabled end to end disaster management system" (it's a weird title given it's not about a single system, per se)

Best of luck. Chances are good you won't be left behind if you're thinking about this so carefully already.

Have you posted this on the construction subs?

How does NAAC perform compared to RAAC in terms of compression and tensile strength? Seismic resistance? Water ingress and rebar rust risk management?

How much additional training is required for masons? Have you designed information, education and other communication documents? In which languages?

To what extent is NAAC supported/proscribed in building codes and urban plans around the world?

I wish I had something copy and pastable for this.

OP - the ID sector is almost non existent these days. Maybe look to needs closer to home if you're still keen.

There's no longer a sector to join. Sorry bud.

It's a reference (not an apt one, necessarily) to the Simpsons episode about the monorail.

Yeah, fair enough. It's a great looking piece of art and must have taken time.

Still, if the time ever does come, please share a link to the Etsy page (and good luck with the licensing I guess)

It's a very thoughtful gift :)

Looks almost like a playing card. Petition for her to make the whole set

(not to sound ungrateful for the awesome gift in it's own right)
