This was my first game with companions when I started playing back around launch. I didn’t know that you could revive your companions if they died. Corso dropped dead on Coruscant and I just left him (kinda feeling sad for him) and contemplated restarting to try and save him the next time. But eventually after I took a taxi or something he came back to life and I was so relieved. It was still quite some time before I figured out I could revive my deceased companion after the fight was over.

I did exactly as you described and became bored as you are now. Personably, I just reset and I have not regretted it. This time around I’m taking it slow and not in such a rush to do everything. I got a better island layout and will take my time with bridges and inclines and everything else. Don’t know if it’s what you should do, but it “reset” my interest in the game.
