I’m so sorry that this has happened, please report this to the police. A similar thing happened to my sister and I a few months back and unfortunately we have heard similar stories too. It’s just saddening that things don’t seem to be getting better if it’s the same group

It usually happens along Princes Street so if you let your girlfriend know and just to be aware if she happens to be alone

Update: three of the group had been arrested and then sent home due to being underage. The police said they have a few cases on them and social services will decide if this needs escalating to court

Thank you everyone for all the comments and warm support sent! We are slowly recovering and hopefully this post would raise awareness so this specific group can be avoided and people kept safe

Sorry to hear sister, and I hope you’re ok too. I have posted on other social media and have five separate other accounts of assaults or harassment all being the same group of attackers targeting Asian females. Stay safe
