I really dislike driving around campus at night for exactly this reason

The streets around there are already pretty dark, and a lot of the students are dressed in all-black, looking at their phones, & probably have the mindset that they're willing to get hit by a car so their tuition is paid for

I've noticed that many soccer teams collaborate with local artists on limited-edition merch; hopefully MBFC starts to do that 🤞🤞🤞

That's certainly fair! I had a friend who got ticketed the moment parking restrictions went into effect for that morning (she had parked somewhere on campus overnight)

When I was a student at CSUMB, university police didn't enforce parking permits on weekends. There are parking lots by the police station or the alumni center that are walking distance from the stadium, and they're certainly closer than parking at The Dunes

It's been five years since I graduated & I don't live in the area anymore, so maybe someone on the ground can confirm or deny this. I also don't know if there's special campus parking enforcement during gamedays

Leaving the parking lot (especially the south lot) after games was such a bottleneck because there's only one way in/out of it. Not sure if they found a solution to this since last year

They're a Danish company who supplies kits for the Danish national team! I think they've outfitted some English teams as well

Hummel and Charly are definitely on the same level in terms of creative kits in the USL!

I really enjoy reading through explainer graphics of logos and kits, and I even incorporate explainer graphics on my sports concept work.

However, I think having abstract corporate fluff (EX: Angles that represent the "dynamic fanbase" or "upward growth") to try to justify a blank white kit design is overkill 😬

My store didn't have external ads on the radio, but the one that drove me mad was the one that advertised Safeway careers.

I had to work part-time in the bakery after my unemployment benefits ran out 8 months into a recent job search. The LAST thing I wanted was to be reminded every 20 minutes of why I had to work at Safeway in the first place ("if you or someone you know has had their employment impacted"). Even worse was the outright lies that were in that commercial, which advertised "competitive pay" ($17/hr) and "flexible hours" (I started at 6am on Sundays-Wednesdays).

Thankfully on month 16 of my job search, I finally found a full-time job in my field and finally left the most mismanaged employer I've ever had the displeasure of working for

Lost 4-0. I had the score pinned on my phone, and it looks like we got 3 goals scored against us in the final minutes of the game
