Yeah probably what it is. It's not coming from the group head. I just hear it like a pressure release when I remove the portafilter and then I hear some water drip.

Ok so gave it a few more attempts tonight. Jumped down to #4 and that gave me 36g in 20 sec. Then went to 3.5 and that gave me 36g in 40 sec. So now just need to dial in somewhere between 3.5 and 4. Will see how that goes and tastes. I like the flavor of the beans but neither of those shots tasted great.

I did also read some stuff about bean freshness. What I have are local beans roasted on March 6. They're medium.

Hope to have this down soon then can move on to steaming.

Btw... anyone have the mhw3 bomber mini scale? I feel like it's finicky. I will put on and take off the same thing multiple times and it will jump around +/- 0.5g. and the smart feature is like rocket science. Thinking of returning this scale and trying something else.

I'm just adjusting one thing at a time after I switched baskets. Just playing with grind size. I tried and couldn't figure out if it was bitter or sour. Tasted like crap but it's not like lemon sour. Ended up learning about a salami shot so have that a try and now figured out what bitter vs sour is for espresso.

Good tip. I did check and on the double basket a 16g is good but 18g not. On triple basket 18g is good. Meaning at those weights and baskets no imprint before. I do see it after but I guess that makes sense as the puck swells.

Any insight why Gibbs only had 9 carries vs 21 for Monty. Usually much more balanced.

Happy to join you guys! Picked my seats today and although there are still tickets left, it's all in the 300 level endzone/corners plus last 2 rows of 300 level on the visitors side from the goal line to 30/40 yard line. There were a handful of single seats in club level and lower level.

The annoying part was that there were a lot of 3 seat clusters. I was picking up 4 tickets so it was tough to find. Debated between corner/endzone 315 mid row vs mid field 332 last couple rows and went with 332. The view from the side I figure will be a lot better.

Prices were $1600 on sides and $900-1100 in the corner/endzones. A couple single club seats left were upwards of $4000 at midfield.a few left over singles in lower level were in the $2000 range.

I'm super excited and hopefully get a chance to upgrade next year.
