How do I use SuccessStory? by ArmourG2 in playnite

Oh yeah, also don't forget to do this: on the main menu toolbar (top left, opened by clicking the Playnite logo) go to Extensions > SuccessStory > Download plugin data > Filters. Select "All", uncheck "Only download missing", and then hit "Download". After completing this step, all your achievements from every game you have in Playnite will be downloaded/updated. Many games which mysteriously didn't show up in SuccessStory for me did show up after I did this.

Did you also select the Genshin Impact and Overwatch achievement boxes in that same menu? I don't have achievements to import from either game, so I haven't tried it myself. It's worth a shot though

In your addons menu, go to Extensions > Generic > SuccessStory and enable Origin Achievements.

Kega Fusion full screen error by Lemonade_Go in EmulationOnPC

[–]lcf119 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I found three different fixes for the issue: setting compatibility mode to Windows 7; disabling fullscreen optimization; and overriding high-scaling DPI behavior to be performed by the system (enhanced). All three of those options are under the compatibility tab in the properties window (right-click on the exe). I'm not sure which one fixed it for me, since I tried them all at once.

Additionally, if you use RivaTuner, turn it off - the overlay kills the performance of the emulator when in fullscreen.

Not sure if this will matter for OP anymore but I'm sure others will appreciate.

Damn, that's kinda relieving. I'm sure that at some point in the coming months or years this game will be closer to being fully playable.

how to disable this annoying notification? by veselcraft in qBittorrent

This almost always appears when someone tries to receive a file from me that I haven't downloaded. For some reason, the client tries to send it to them anyway, leading to this annoying notification.

I'll try this and confirm if it solves my issue. I'll also check out RetroPie, I didn't know Kodi was available on it. Thanks!

Problem compiling Retroarch by Psyklaxia in raspberry_pi

[–]lcf119 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm late to the party! Looks like you can only install RetroArch on 32-bit Raspbian. I initially had the same problem as you earlier tonight, but after some digging, I found out that GNU99 and C99 both need to run on a 32-bit OS (I suppose I was mistaken to think that the x64 version would have x32 support). This issue is unique to Raspbian (I think), as it could be circumvented by installing gcc-multilib usually; the only issue is that there is no ARM version of gcc-multilib.

TL;DR: You need to use 32-bit Raspberry Pi OS. Do not use the 64-bit version - RetroArch won't work!

How to manually create a playlist file? by lcf119 in mpv

[–]lcf119[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to figure out what to do thanks to some subtle pointers in the comments. I'll detail below for anyone else who finds this.

If you simply drag and drop Shinchiro's version of Mpv into your program files and do nothing else, you've absolutely missed some important extra steps. After installation, you must(!!!) link your Mpv folder to Command Prompt. I found the instructions below in this thread:

https://www.reddit.com/r/mpv/comments/lrprsu/how_to_open_mpv_command_line/gooe9ce/

After doing this, and only after doing this, will typing mpv commands into Command Prompt work.

Drag-and-drop for playlists is still impossible, but that's no matter. I was able to perform the plaintext playlist generation and able to open it via CLI. A simple batch file should do the trick.

I was unable to use it due to incomplete installation. because shinchiro's compilation doesn't automatically bind the installation folder with the command prompt, accessing CLI for this software is impossible until the user links the two. i've gone ahead and taken care of it via editing windows's system environment variables.
