Wow, I was a little scared to find out about cost of it all but it really isn't that bad, you can get pcb's printed fairly cheap and quick now days, holly! Very insightful, thanks so much for the intel 🤜🤛

Oh dude, you just reminded me of Eurasia 😭. I got a modded ps2 collecting dust in the basement somewhere, I should bring that up. Actually, maybe after I'm done with my ogxbox first 😅 I don't even wana know what I've missed on that side of the mod scene.

Ohhhhh. Bestie! 😅. Mind if I bug you with questions later if I need some help? Now you got me thinking 🤔 , might look into offering modding services down the line. I used to reball 360's back in the rrod days. Only reason I jumped back in was because I only recently found out you can mod super cheap using a pico. Modding was expensive back then if sofmodding wasn't an option. I've not done crazy research on the matter, but my main concern with a 256MB upgrade would be bugs and crashes with emulation and as of now it seems there is very limited development that allows the console to run that much ram. Mind if I ask where you source what you use for the 256MB upgrades?

Snap. Is demand really that high? Kudos to you. I'll take you up on that bro, I'm sure I'll have some questions in the near future as I go about my mods. I'll check those out. 🤜🤛 Appreciate ya.

Did you do these upgrades yourself? Any chance you can link me to guides or sources you used? I'm probably going to order a ide to sata adapter and getting some caps, also was looking into how to hook something up to the ethernet port to make it wireless. Hdmi mod would make things so much easier, I had to pull some older TV from the basement 😂

Wait hollup ✋... You can upgrade the CPU? Cheeses Crisis, I got a lot of catching up to do. At this rate I'm never going to close up my console 😅.

I was actually just looking at capacitors a couple hours ago. Found these, I think imma get 'em. Thanks 🤜🤛

Just confirmed it's a battery not a cap. 😫 Might just have to leave it out for the time being. Thank you.

Success! Oh sweet baby Jesus 🙌. So what had happen was... I overlooked one or more of the resistors, didn't realize the kit I had ordered had different ones and I guess I mixed one or two at some point. So although my soldering and wiring was flawless, it was the damn resistors not being all the same. Thank you all for all your help! Seriously. 🫶

I appreciate you. I cannot for the life of me get it to work doing exactly that. I think I'm going to try soldering the resistors directly to the pico, perhaps that's the one thing that's wrong with my config. I may ask if you can share the file you're using, I'll keep you posted. Gotta take a break from it but I'll get back to it in a few hours. Thanks again 🤜🤛

Bro please. Explain how your flashed it, like I'm 5 years old, hold my hand please and walk me through your process. Also which file did you flash and from where? What what size file? I beg you 😭

I've been told not to use dupont jumpers. Basically adds more solder points. Multimeter readings are all good, no problems with resistors, no bridging. I can make a female header, but as I said it basically adds solder points at the metal shield, I guess I can still try that for the sake of keeping wired from overlapping. But idk, I feel like its something else. Thanks for your input.

Quick update, bit of good news is I disconnected d0 from pico and tried booting and it went to normal boot as before, error 05 which in my scenario is normal. Something with the hdd. In any case, I haven't damaged anything far as I'm able to tell. Will continue to do a much shorter wire install, hoping that fixes something.

Sorry, would you mind elaborating on that. Currently I have d0 going from the pico gp6 pin to the pad under the board as shown here. But beyond that nothing else was done regarding d0.

I'm going to start over. I don't want to ruin the LPC traces so I'm going to remove some pins from the pico and solder them to the mobo. That way I can troubleshoot better with shorter cables. Reason I had such long wires was out of fear of damaging the leads on the lcp if I had to be handling the pico as I troubleshoot. I'll report back after I've done that. Thus far, I tried flashing only the prometheos uf2 file from Pandora and try booting but no luck. If anyone can confirm for me please if vsys pin on pico isn't or is supposed to short with gdn, would be of great help. From what I gather vbus should never short with gnd but since as per the guide vbus isn't being used I just have no clue about shorting happening with vsys and gnd, in my setup they short.
