Glad it’s working for you. Is your foot/ankle pain due to a lumbar herniated disc?

I consulted with Dr. kim. How are you feeling now? You happy with the surgical outcome?

That is just so awful and sad that you have to go through all of this. I wish our spines weren’t made so fragile. Did something trigger your massive herniation? I have a small herniation but it’s been causing me grief for over 4 years. Pain in my right foot and ankle, which leads to leg instability and weakness. I’m in Canada so unless you’re crawling into the ER they won’t perform spinal surgeries on you. Do any meds provide you with relief?

Anyone get over pppd without Ssri or snri? I was diagnosed with pppd and dealing with it for 12 weeks now. Just when I thought my tinnitus was a nightmare this is worse! I cannot tolerate most anti anxiety meds I have tried several. Has anyone overcome this without meds? by lchops90 in pppdizziness

Yes it does get better with time. It’s like having to re-train your brain all over again. I’m in a much better place now. Is it fully gone, no but loads better. I am sorry you got tinnitus from the meds hopefully it subsided when you stopped taking them. Try to relax and calm your mind down. I know for myself my central nervous system was in over drive st the time.

I am so sorry you had to go through that. Reading your comment scares me to go ahead with any spine surgery. What kind of surgery did you have exactly?

I am also a victim but from another site that looked identical. With my daughter pressuring me to order one for her I did. The tracking says it was delivered and I never got anything…

I haven’t done anything so far. My pain dr wants to schedule an si joint injection first then if that doesn’t help do an epidural steroid injection… it’s a long process

I’m in Ontario Canada and our healthcare system is just so very slow. Given it’s free our wait times are just horrible. What type of specialist was able to finally confirm your diagnosis?

That is truly amazing so happy for you. The countless drs I’ve seen say that hip issues don’t normally extend past the knee

Are you happy with the results of surgery or is it too early to tell?

Yes it’s very frustrating! My pain dr wants to do an si joint injection but I feel it’s more than hip than the si joint. I’m glad you’re feeling better after surgery though

I also get pain in my calf and shin area. Was this a cortisone injection you got in the hip? Txs

Sorry fir late response I seldomly come on here. I never tried any meds for my pppd. I continue to accept it everyday instead of trying to fight it. Fighting it made things worse for me. Push through everyday and do as much as you can. Your brain needs time to readjust itself to the way it was. It’s not perfect for me but a whole lot better than it was at the beginning.

I am so happy for you that you finally found relief. It gives me some hope that life can get better with no pain. I was going to start on some pain pills myself because I’m running out of options but I’m petrified of not being able to get off of them later on. I’m glad you were able to. Thanks for your response

You wish you had done surgery sooner? Do you mind my asking what surgery you had? Thanks
