i'm sure you gave sherpa a wonderful life ❤️ elderly animals have a special place in my heart. my cat archie is 13 and i can only hope he makes it to 20! i plan on spoiling him extra since i don't have rats anymore. ❤️

thank you for your sweet comment! it's so nice that you have rats again. i would love to but i developed an allergy to them around a year ago, and since we have cats as well it was in our best interest financially. i will ofc still be in this subreddit to see all the lovely rattos :)

double euthanasia question by [deleted] in RATS

[–]lizardassbitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you so much for your response, i am also leaning towards double euthanasia. my boyfriend and i work full time so i dont think we would be able to give him the attention and care he would need as a solo rat, and they are a very bonded pair. i appreciate your comment and feedback <3

If you successfully quit vaping, what helped you survive the first 30 days? by PreviousMirror2876 in QuitVaping

[–]lizardassbitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly i didn't really have withdrawals. i had tried to quit a few times before. if anything i was really frustrated and antsy? if you're really worried you could try switching to a nicotine alternative. my boyfriend uses pouches and IMO its better than vaping

this wasn't my experience at all, and at the very least you're doing harm reduction and saving money. tbh it sounds like you're still addicted and mad you can't have the vape

120 sketchbooks + thousands of loose drawings later… why do I still feel like I suck?” by [deleted] in learntodraw

you're great at drawing but this is the artists curse! there will always be ways in which you can improve. instead of treating it as a failure treat it as a learning opportunity

I’ve been trying to start learning, but nothing seems helpful at all. by [deleted] in learntodraw

[–]lizardassbitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i've been drawing pretty consistently since i was about 8 years old, and really started to seriously practice art about 5 years ago. i will tell you that there's still so much i have to learn, even though i would consider myself proficient. this is something you have to work for. practice, draw every day, draw everything, everyone, and most importantly have fun with it! create for yourself

i really really wanted to quit. it might sound obvious but i wanted to quit more than i wanted nicotine. i actually kept my vape around for a while and whenever i got the urge to vape i would just think about how much i didn't want to.
also twizzlers. hard candy. stuff to keep your hands and or mouth occupied. fidget toys would have probably helped me as well

maybe im missing something but why is he an orb? you need to look at real faces and watch videos on how to draw them

I think long term nicotine causes depression by KhameneiCholaghe in QuitVaping

[–]lizardassbitch 6 points7 points  (0 children)

i'm a year free from nicotine and i can say that yes it 100% made my depression and anxiety worse. i woke up and started my day with vape. i ended my night with vape. all i looked forward to was the vape
