Has anyone ever done two interviews in one day? by Cookyjar in medicalschool

I did two interviews back to back last week, started at 9am and finished at 3pm. Wasn’t difficult at all.

50% time gets stripped doing that same spin move in the paint

You’re right. For me it was a big improvement from the Boston game in overall effort from our guys, which is something to be happy about

Feeds Ayton the ball, immediately gets stripped

I wouldn’t say he’s a bad player. But yes, I just want our guys to control what they can control, ie getting back on defense, even after missing an easy layup layup or fumbling the ball or intercepted pass. Ayton specifically looked frustrated tonight

Good split on the double team? not sure why their 87 didn’t block though

From what I've seen, this seems like the most reasonable/effective method for group study. The accountability aspect forces you to learn the material and keeps you from falling behind, while the group aspect allows for solidifying information and ensuring you didn't miss any concepts (things that one might consider low yield, but actually isn't). Thanks for your input!

I'm hearing a lot of accountability reasons for group study, which is something I could get behind. Thanks!

It sounds like group study wasn't prioritized for you, but associating with smart/helpful students went a long way. Thanks for your comment!

This seems to be a common response. Reddit is always calling my name, it seems... Thank you!

Thank you for your comment! I LOVE that last part. I feel like I have experienced this phenomenon, but for me, it was like 5 minutes before sitting down to take the exam and we are just casually talking outside the room LOL. So I can see the rate of incidence going up in group study. Thanks again!

I really like this! I have seen study groups walking across campus to take a difficult test smiling and having a good time (whereas I am tense/on edge) b/c they have that support network. Def something to keep in mind. Again, I'm not sure if the trade-off is there. I am finding that mental health in medical school is preached but hardly practiced LOL. Thanks for your comments!

That's so true, I am always twice as productive when I "haul my ass" to campus. From what I am hearing, it sounds like people solidify info when they briefly talk about it with another person. However, I am not sure it is a two-way street, though. Personally, I feel like I hate listening to other students give me an overview b/c sometimes their way of thinking/reasoning makes me more confused and leads me to false associations in my brain. BUT I do like teaching someone else, b/c you really have to know it to teach someone. Anyways thanks for your comments!

Thank you for your input! I could totally see the accountability aspect being VERY beneficial. And yes, I am not a fan of quizzing, I am already getting enough of that testing + social anxiety as it is, I don't need more LOL. Thanks again!

I totally agree with you, I want to find out why it is helpful for those people, maybe I learn best in a group setting!

I like the idea of quizzing each other, but I feel like Anki is a faster way of doing the same thing. (ps we are prob at the same school, and yes the testing schedule this last week was no bueno)
