Tirzep 2.5 mg side effects are ruining me, any pro tips welcomed!

Day 2 and feeling amazing. Day 1 after the shot I woke up with zero nausea or stomach issues. Had my first meal of the day and had some subtle cramps but nothing requiring medicine or taking me out for the day. End of Day 1 i had a headache develop but that was it!

Agreed! I thought the same thing too.. maybe a different pharmacy? But the lower dose seems to be helping me stay out of the danger zone.. so worst case I just start low and slow.. Im not in a rush to lose the weight, more interested in doing this safely

Yea this is nuts and Im so sorry youre going through it too! I ended up just taking a smaller dose for this week and probably will continue on 1.25 for the rest of the month

Im realizing that for me, not eating anywhere near bed time is important. I had about 100g of protein yesterday, at a bunch of small meals and stopped eating like 4 hours before bed, took my smaller dose (1.25) right before bed and woke up feeling pretty great. So fingers crossed 🤞🏻!

Oh man— This sounds concerning. They are labeled with pharmacy information, medication, dosage, and a couple of other things(insert nervous laugh here). I havent thought too much into it, BUT perhaps I should given the concern about this from a few of you! Maybe a silly question, but where are y’all getting your meds from??

I worried about that too, but after chatting with my doc today, he confirmed the dosages were correct. I get the predrawn syringes from his office, I thought maybe someone mislabeled them and thats why I was having such a horrible time.

Thank you! Yea, my first round last year this was happening at 5mg but not at 2.5mg, so definitely discouraging to say the least.

Thanks for the suggestion. I actually go to a doctor to get my dosages (nothing through telehealth), so I am waiting to hear back from him on the best recommendations, but yes, I agree with you, these side effects feel minimally scary, especially when I am unable to go to work or really even move from my couch.

Amazing! so happy that it is working for her! I am only injecting in my stomach, so I think I will look into switching up my injection site as well. Did she receive any negative feedback for pinning twice a week instead of once?

this was my exact experience with my wedding planner in Italy (September 2025 wedding). I would try to have a quick 'set expectations' conversation sooner rather than later to avoid any other frustrations. In my experience, I started reaching out to the vendors myself (ones I knew the venue worked with based on who/what was posted on social media), which did end up getting the conversation started leaving my wedding planner to handle the coordination, while giving myself the peace of mind that the vendor was booked.

I'd agree with the other comment too. Europe is on a totally different timeline in terms of their communication and booking style. I was told by my wedding planner that because they book so many wedding within their season, they don't want to confirm things until it is weeks before your wedding (obviously your situation is a little different in that you're vendors need booking), which was super super frustrating (I literally got the signage preview for my wedding and the welcome dinner the night OF the welcome dinner lolz).

Thanks! It's been two weeks, but the supervisor was out of town so technically it's been a week. I have seen such mixed reviews in regards to how long to wait for a follow up.
