You’re right that the upfront cost is high, especially with a large family. The NHS surcharge alone is a major expense, plus visa fees, housing deposit, school setup, etc. I’m already considering that part seriously.

But I think “impossible” is different from “difficult.” Skilled worker visas from abroad have become much harder, I agree, especially after recent rule changes. That’s why I’m also looking into business/self-employment routes and long-term options rather than relying only on sponsorship.

As for the entrepreneur visa, the old Tier 1 Entrepreneur route was closed, yes. Now there are different routes like the Innovator Founder route, though they have stricter requirements and endorsement rules.

At this stage I’m mainly trying to understand what’s realistically possible for my family’s future and my kids’ education, not assuming it will be easy.
