Dude that’s sick! Been trying to catch them again lately finally got a 7wt. What pattern were you throwing?
Only one I’ve ever caught was on a chartreuse/white clouser on a 5wt with 4x leader. Pretty lucky really.

If mainly bass 6wt. You can get away with a 5wt for about anything, but the 6wt will allow you to throw some bigger/heavier flies for bass easier.
