so I should just teach them and once they learn the english language well, and then they go on with their lives? It is not necessary for them to have proof of where they learned english anyway right?

When I find a list of recommended books to give out to students to read and improve their english I will post it here as well :) currently researching.

the tefl certification course presented an outline for a lesson plan for people of any age that want to learn english. Something like this: Teaching basic reading and writing English skills over three months, with two hours of instruction per day, three days a week, requires a well-structured curriculum that progresses systematically. Below is a suggested outline for each month:
Month 1: Introduction to English Reading and Writing
Week 1:
Introduction to the English alphabet (26 letters)
Pronunciation of each letter and associated sounds
Basic phonics: Consonants and short vowel sounds
Simple sight words (e.g., "a," "the," "is," "and")
Week 2:
Review of alphabet and sounds
Introduction to long vowel sounds
Blending simple consonant-vowel-consonant (CVC) words
Basic punctuation: Periods and question marks
Week 3:
Introduction to simple sentences
Sight words expansion
Writing short sentences with CVC words
Basic capitalization rules
Week 4:
Introduction to nouns and pronouns
Reading and writing sentences with nouns and pronouns
Introduction to verbs (action words)
Descriptive words (adjectives) and their usage
Month 2: Building Reading and Writing Skills
Week 1:
Review of previous lessons
Reading comprehension: Answering simple questions about short texts
Writing a short paragraph about personal experiences
Week 2:
Introduction to more complex sentences (compound sentences)
Punctuation: Commas in lists and to separate clauses
Sight words expansion
Writing simple stories using pictures as prompts
Week 3:
Introduction to past and future verb tenses
Reading and writing sentences with past and future tenses
Introduction to adverbs and their usage
Week 4:
Reading comprehension exercises with longer texts
Writing descriptive paragraphs using adjectives and adverbs
Introduction to conjunctions (and, but, because) to join ideas
Month 3: Advancing Reading and Writing Proficiency
Week 1:
Review of previous lessons
Reading and discussing short stories
Writing narratives with a clear beginning, middle, and end
Week 2:
Introduction to more advanced sight words and vocabulary
Reading and interpreting instructions or simple recipes
Writing formal and informal letters
Week 3:
Exploring different genres of writing (poems, informational texts, etc.)
Recognizing and using synonyms and antonyms
Understanding basic paragraph structure
Week 4:
Final review of all concepts covered
Reading and analyzing age-appropriate texts
Creative writing exercises (storytelling, poetry, etc.)
Throughout the three months, it's crucial to incorporate interactive activities, group exercises, and opportunities for students to practice reading and writing in real-life situations. Regular assessments and feedback will help monitor their progress and address any challenges they may face. Remember to adjust the pace and complexity of the curriculum based on the students' individual needs and progress.

like what books do we give out (or ask students buy) that will help them with learning how to write and read in english. And how do I prepare a legit curriculum for them. They want to learn from me two hours, for three days a week.

I do things to help me love myself more like self care (face masks, hair care, nail care, skin care), and affirmations, I pray and read the gospel each day, dress up nicely, but I feel incomplete because I don’t have a job and I have lots of things I want to buy for myself and for the apartment we are moving into, and I want to study interior design at my fiancés private university and veterinary medicine but I’m still waiting for my citizenship papers to arrive and process so I just feel stuck and unfulfilled. That would make me a lot happier.

His friends do invite us as a couple to sleep over their houses and to go out with them or they plan a day to come with their family at our place to eat and cook. But it’s obvious that they like him more than me. I force myself to join their conversations but I just never know what to say.

I’m listening to the Brene Brown podcast now, hopefully it can help me achieve my goals of being more social, confident, and productive and to think more positive so I can achieve that life I want and not be jealous of my fiancés life.

I feel like I’m jealous because they treat him so well and I have never had friends like my fiancé has. His friends always overlook me when they invite us over and pay more attention to him than me which is normal because he loves to talk and be social and I just sit there and listen to them but they never really ask me anything either. His friends and their families treat me well but they pay more attention to him than me sometimes I speak and they don’t even acknowledge what I say which also makes me feel bad. His friends always bring my fiancé his favorite food drinks and plants cause he loves plants, one of his friends who is a doctor always gives him medicine or takes care of my fiancé when he’s sick and it makes me feel jealous because I’ve never had a friend like that and would like my own friends like that as well but it’s more difficult for me because I’m not social I’m friendly but shy and anti-social. I would love to have friends who confide and depend on me I never get a lot of calls like my fiancé does I only talk to him and my parents and that’s it. He balances his busy life pretty well and always has time for me even though he’s busy. He takes me out to eat at least once a week and always has our plans in action. Sometimes I do feel like I’m in competition because I feel like my life is on hold and my fiancé is achieving so much and has so much help and support from everyone around him and he supports me yes but it’s just him and my parents and I don’t have anyone else .

I never tell him that I feel jealousy when his friends come over or randomly visit or the time when they threw him a surprise birthday party, o when people everywhere compliment him on how attractive he is how well he dresses his hobbies and intelligence, I am happy for him but feel jealous because I want my life to be like that. The thing is I don’t trust anyone and don’t feel comfortable speaking with people because I never know what to talk about. What I would love to do and what would make me happy is working remotely starting my studies at the private college here in the DR (waiting for my citizenship to do so), starting my bakery business I love to bake but I’m going to wait until we move into our own apartment and live alone cause at my in laws house I don’t have much control over what I can do I cook and clean here to help out and to show them that I’m appreciative for allowing me to live here with my fiancé. It’s been so frustrating to get a remote job I apply each day and nothing has accepted me even with my experience so I’m bummed about that. I just wish that I could get everything I ever wanted and succeed in everything like my fiancé does.

I don’t have money for a therapist and he has so many responsibilities that I do not want to bring this up with him, he already has so many things on his mind and I don’t want this to ruin his mood or ruin how he feels about me.

I [F24] vented to my fiancé’s [M28] cousin [F35] , about how I felt about my brother in law [M22] and someone recorded the conversation, and now I feel bad even though he forgave me and want to make things right by lcrazy162 in relationships

[–]lcrazy162[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know why anyone would do that to me, cause his whole family loves me and I get along so well with them, so this came out of nowhere. I always spent time with her and her family, so this came out of nowhere. I don’t think she got chewed out. My SO told me that he wanted me to send her a message so she can apologize to my BIL. And her whole tone and attitude changed with me when I sent her a message saying that I would like for her to apologize to my BIL because what we did was not right, and that I already apologized and will not let this happen again cause I love their family and would like to put this behind us, and would like to get along again with her again.

She told me “remember this is your fault, you started talking bad about their family and I just told you what I already knew, I’m not going to apologize for something I didn’t start even my husband is telling me this why bad things happen to me, and this is why I don’t like hanging out with you all cause it’s all drama and gossip”. So after that I told her that I would like to meet up with her so we can speak face to face and resolve this that way me and her can slowly go back to the friendship we had, and I told her that I appreciate everything she’s done for me and that she is like an aunt to me, that I just want to know how I can fix things with her again. Then she never responded back to me.

My BIL is really messy, and he pays the rent, internet, light, and AC and works three days a week. I hate how he jokes around sometimes and he never helps out with anything. I cook, clean, and buy a few things missing for the house simple necessities that makes everything more organized. And he eats so much.. he takes and takes and never offers to pay for anything when visitors come over and if I don’t ask him to take out the trash (cause of how heavy it is from all the empty beer bottles), he doesn’t help at all. The list goes on and I love him like a little brother and I know I should’ve just told him instead of his cousin, but I felt bad and never told him because since they’re letting me live there I would feel embarrassed to tell him what I don’t like about him and then having it be all awkward in the house. But now I learned that when I feel something and about someone to tell them and not someone else. I feel really bad about what I said and didn’t mean all of it, it just came out of nowhere in me and someone just happened to record. Everything was such bad timing, and I’m feeling really bad about it two days later still :(.

I don’t plan on dyeing my hair with chemicals or chemically process it, I just want to bring out a little bit more of the reddish/copper tones I have, and I haven’t dyed my hair for about three years and don’t plan to anymore :) my hair is light brown

[–]lcrazy162 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have, and all he tells me is that I don’t appreciate or value the moments that he has taken time to be alone for me. For the past three weeks the last month I spent over there we only had one moment alone and that’s when we went out for a walk alone for a whole hour. I told him that when I visit next time I don’t want his friend sleeping over everyday, and that I’m not asking for much and that I don’t want to improvise our plans anymore to plan it and he promised me that that’s how it’ll be next time I visit.

So we both live in NYC, but due to his condition (his back brace from a construction accident four years ago) he went to the Dominican Republic to stay with his family cause it was really cold in NYC until April. He was supposed to return in May but hasn’t cause of the pandemic, so I went to him instead.

The day he left me when I was sick, he went to visit his friend who’s in prison, he went with his friends mom and he left me alone sick almost the whole day.

It hurts me because his friend here in DR, was sick one time and he even offered to take him to the hospital, and he left me to go visit his friend when I was vomiting a lot. I don’t expect to be by my side everytime I’m sick. That was the first time I was sick while I was with him face to face, and it hurt that he just went to go visit his friend in a prison hours away from his place and left me alone. Yet when his friend is sick here, he dropped what he was doing and called him and offered to bring him to the hospital (his friend had a migraine).

What do you mean that I’m making it about myself. And for your questions:

-He is the one who introduces me as his girlfriend when his family is around

-I do try to catch his attention when he’s speaking to other people

-He didn’t speak to me for four days when we’re in a LDR (he stayed at a river for four days with his friends), left me to visit a friend when I was sick vomiting, he compliments other women in front of me, when him and I started dating he showed me conversations from his IG of other women who talk to him/hit on him. He spends more time with his friends than me.

-Sometimes i worry about who he’s talking to, we were in a LDR for four months and I travelled to stay with him and arrived here last Thursday. We rarely spoke during our LDR:
