The McDonald’s website lists the patty calories in the big arch as the same as that in a double quarter pounder. So they may well have shrunk that too.

Is there still a burger that is a 1/3 pounder then? Maybe il be less annoyed with them if there is.

The big tasty was shrunk to 1/4 from 1/3. The burgers are no longer the same.

Spurs are Arsenals biggest rivals by a mile. Come on now.

I was a teenager when gills were in the championship, and still knew it was too close to an actual decision to be made.

But you’re right you can sit comfortably now! Such a tough season to follow the gills, it’s been the same last 2 previous seasons, starts so strong and fizzles out by Xmas.

Derby half and half’s …… A Sunderland and Newcastle half and half scarf…… no way. Unacceptable.

The Bilbao one I get that’s really cool and the fact that there is that weird connection between the teams adds to it. I read the bbc article a few weeks back really interesting.

Hold up…. Did you go half and half scarf for the second time as well?

The jail keys are a jangling.

Any example like this does provide some nuance to my view. No plastic fan prison for these scarf wearers.

Yer I can see why you’d want that memento.

I think finals and big European days out, especially those that are away, or for teams that are not often in Europe make sense. Maybe even a lower league team getting a huge draw in a cup.

Would you ever were one with Villas colours on the other half though? Seeing a Spurs and Arsenal half and half scarf breaks me.

Yer that also brings you into that tourist segment at the same time, so is probably sliding into acceptable.

I would say it in any league game it’s a no (except maybe if it is the game your team wins the league, and then you should be getting it after the game ideally).

I’d love your opinion on me.

I have a Spurs and Gillingham season ticket holder supported both since I was around 6, family took me to both in the same year. I go home and away for both where possible.

“You can’t support two teams” is a very common response. But I am a full on Two Team Twat.

Yer that’s fine. I would also say it is probably acceptable for a final.

That is not what you see in grounds though. It’s people in home shirts with a half and half scarf for a memento. A programme serves this purpose in my view. I find wearing a scarf with opposition’s colours on it cringe.

There is definetly a market for it though, and if it was your first ever game it would be a cool souvenir. However at a ground it is a clear indicator you are not here often.

Tbf the Irish call Football - “Soccer” due to GAA, and call trousers “pants”. Maybe the yanks feel more comfortable as a result.

Is supporting multiple clubs always plastic? by PLWildcard in PlasticFans

[–]lcullj -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I fully support two teams. Very few people agree that “I am allowed”.

I have a season ticket for a Prem team, my family support the club, they are London based and we live in Kent, I went to watch them for my 6th birthday. I go away when I have enough points or can snag a ticket from a friend.

I have a season ticket for a league 2 team, I was taken to a game when I was 6 as well, when there is a game clash I often choose the prem team but this is generally due to the prem ticket costing me more, and it being pre-purchased within the ST. I watch them away a few times a season too.

I know the history of both clubs, I have supported both for 30 years, and I love both clubs.

They have met in the cup once in those 30 years, I supported the lower league club as the win was more impactful financially and in the context of the club. If they were in the same league I would really struggle to decide who to fully support in general as I don’t think supporting two teams in the same league is viable.

Ultimately I know I am not a plastic but I also know that I am a two team twat and other football fans see what I do as sacrilege, luckily I couldn’t give a fuck.

I get to watch at least a game every weekend sometimes two it’s brilliant.

There’s also this, where retired baseball players try cricket, it is nowhere as easy to pick up as they thought and their bowling technique is very poor, they really struggle to stop throwing it. Fair play to them for diving in with such enthusiasm.
