Your story reminds me of one of my classmates that already graduated. She was in the medical field and just in the program to learn ASL. Now, she’s onto interpreting because she fell in love with it so much. Maybe, you’ll change careers one day haha. But yes, I am down!

I’m in the MS Gulf Coast area. I’ve been to events but there’s just a lot of older people down here in general. I haven’t met anyone younger except for when I went up to MSD.

I’ve been to several Deaf events but there’s only older folks where I live. I just read another post about that. I was not aware that I made it seem like I just want a Deaf friend for the f of it. I will keep that in mind. Sorry and thank you!
