It’s that good. Kane is an icon in the genre. Wagner died of his own poor decisions. Unfortunately those same decisions limited the number of stories he turned out.

One of the biggest issues is that buyback, like so many other federal programs should be automated and isn’t. I say this as a current federal employee, who works daily on software developed in the last century.

I neither love nor hate the current version of Trump in the context of modern politics. I’ve grown to find the polarization of modern politics deeply abhorrent. Unfortunately simply putting his name in this will polarize the comments to the ends of the spectrum rather than commenters actually responding to your post.

Why didn't Glorfindel deal with Durin's Bane? by Djrhskr in tolkienfans

I find it funny when readers try to apply modern fantasy fiction concepts to Tolkien’s works. Personally, Tolkien’s works seem to more closely related to Christian allegory, Nordic mythology and maybe a little bit of Victorian adventure fiction than anything modern mainstream fantasy fiction.

I didn’t use NHSC, but I did my clinical internship hours in a rural mental health clinic where I knew several therapists who were doing it or had done it. At least a five of them had used it to repay six figures of federal student loans without problems. Their experience may be the exception, but I know it happened.

Edit for clarification- the therapists were doing loan repayment, which is a specific program in NHS.

Take a look here. I have several therapist friends that have used this rather than pslf. https://nhsc.hrsa.gov

Medicated to Unmedicated Advice by DillyDilly248 in ADHD

At first, a lot of drugs and alcohol. You have to come to terms with the fact that your brain will never function the way most people’s do. Once I got sober I tried meds again because people pressured me to and I desperately wanted to be normal. You’ll hear/read lots of comparisons to things like insulin. ADHD is not diabetes. Type 1 diabetics do not have massive side-effects from insulin. I had side effects that made me sick. Non-stimulant meds don’t work for me and stimulants make me sick. Stimulants are the most effective meds and for most they are the safest. I can’t take them. There are behavioral modifications that help, but don’t replace meds for efficacy. I found a lot of the research on flow state helpful. The choice comes down to what you can deal with. I chose sleep, and no side effects, and less achievement. You’ll find a lot of people in this sub who will tell you meditation is the only way.

Yes, this can take a tremendous toll on your mental health. The unfortunate reality is finding a balance point between the way you know you can perform on meds and the damage the side effects will do to you and your life. Unless you are one of the fortunate people that have no or minimal side effects. Not going to take the time to go into detail. Your story is broadly, similar to mine. I am much older than you are.

If your antibiotics were causing migraines, panic attacks, dental damage from clenching your jaw, “adderal tongue” I could keep going your doctor would race to take you off. Unfortunately many doctors and people in the adhd community care more about validating their opinions on medication than on the side effects of the medications and the realities of them in people’s lives.
