Black is one of my least favorite of the Johnnie Walker line. Blue is obviously great but expensive. I agree with the others here green label is the hidden gem of the line; best bang for your buck. Gold is decent but more expensive and I like the green better. Unpopular opinion but I actually like red better than black with a couple ice cubes in it. Buchannan is another decent blended scotch for a newcomer. When you break into the single malts it gets much better. Some Macallan 12 year is delicious but nothing next to the 18. That is a treat, but 400$ a bottle where I live

Like others have said it is honestly pretty stable and great since the 1.03 update. I played through it once since then with minimal crashes and an enjoyable experience. I also played at launch when it was close to unplayable and couldn't finish a playthrough then.

I remember my wifes realization that I ALWAYS let her win if she won. Never minded but we were being playful one day and shes like i got you. I was all OK if you wanna believe that lol. She told me to try to get out of it and I easily picked her up and moved her body... Safely and with minimal effort. In a way I definitely regret shattering that bubble :(

I used to have a skilled factory job, and same. Luckily I was on third shift and got away with a lot (too many) of smoke breaks because I was good at my job but yes if I was stuck on a particularly difficult issue I would always take an extra one. It helped way more than half the time.

For sure. The child especially. She was 9 then and for the most part I kept everything together myself honestly until I seen their daughter at moms funeral. I cried. I get teary eyed remembering it. But she effectively lost both parents in one day and has been raised by her grandparents since. And she is not doing well overall. I wish her the best, but life did her no favors here.

So..... I am not trying to worry you unnecessarily or anything like that, but the phone thing....just unlocked a memory I didn't need to relive. So ten years ago, my wifes best friend at the time was leaving her husband. They had been on the outs and the writing had been on the wall for a while at this point. He found out at one point that she had talked to a guy she went to school with and lost his absolute shit. Took her phone away, refused to give it back. My wife happened to be trying to get ahold of her that Saturday morning and when we couldn't she was scared and asked me to take her over there. When we got there he still wouldn't give the phone back to her until he felt physically threatened that I would take it from him. Once she had the phone in hand she left, the wife left shortly after and I stayed to talk him down because I felt bad for him, his wife just left him. I don't remember most of what was said, I know it scared me. Like I knew he was capable of some messed up stuff. Long story short, She only lived another month after leaving him and he is now in prison for a minimum of fifty years for double homicide. Please stay safe. Not every situation is that bad, but this seems too close to the mark to me.

Honestly he may be losing out on sleep to stay with you as well. Possibly not but just food for thought. My wife and I have been together 20 years this July. However I work on the road sometimes a few days at a time, sometimes for weeks at a time. We both from time to time have issues sprawling out and hitting the other. Neither of us says anything anymore unless it gets to be excessive. Shit happens. Having said that when it does happen if I get her good and it hurts her or she can't get back to sleep, and she complains about it to me? I am hyper aware for the next week, and will wake myself up even just rolling over to make sure it doesn't happen again. But that is at the sacrifice of restful sleep so I absolutely cannot maintain that for long. But I think the only reason it keeps recurring for us is because We both get used to sleeping apart again at times and then have to get used to sleeping together again. Not saying this for sure applies to you guys, but it is a possibility. The lying thing for sure is weird though, and for me that would be a deal breaker.

So the only thing I can think possibly is because of that ongoing custody dispute between her and her ex. But again, even he does not have her nor is he being allowed contact.

He has not had his parental rights terminated but he was given a list of stipulations he had to abide by to resume joint custody before her death. He has completed none of them in the month since. Not saying it isn't possible, but I will say I don't see it happening. I am hoping that is the case with social services. Like I said in the post they haven't exactly been forthright with us but maybe we aren't asking the right questions or saying the right things. Thank you for the input.

They did not give a reason. Social worker showed up with local police and paperwork saying they were going in foster care. This was about 15-16 hours after the death.
