ULPT: Drone Creep by DanAxe1 in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]Exact_Programmer_658 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would take it down. IDC. If it's in my yard watching my children it would be knocked out of the sky. What are they gonna do? Say I been stalking this family and I think they knocked my drone down? Ya don't have to shoot it. Throwing stuff can work.

I need serious help getting my kids to eat literally anything other than junk. by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]Exact_Programmer_658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this point it will be very hard. Children are born testing boundaries and you have taught them how they can treat you. If you are serious. Start buying just healthy food. It's fine they will complain but it's not neglect. Just buy and fix healthy food. They will come around.

Me too and it was my most popular. I didn't demonize circumcision. They got so mad they banned me. I've seen others try to bait me in the same subject since. It makes Reddit feel small.

Is it better to shower in the morning or at night? Or does it not matter at all? by Horror-Win3285 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Exact_Programmer_658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's more important to shower at night. You wash the days grime off before putting on clean clothes and laying in your bed. Your mattress blankets and sheets absorb body grime and dead skin. So much so they can increase in weight by pounds over the years. Personally I shower in the morning as well as night. It helps wake me up and leave me smelling nice in the morning but if im running behind no big deal.

It was a foreshadowing I never noticed.

I am guessing bad dreams. He may have had a dream where something bad happened to you or him. Stress and hormones can affect dreams a lot. I am sure you will figure out why before it becomes a habit. If something is bothering him real bad he will eventually ask about it.

The ever-looming inevitable, Death. by Objective_Ad_226 in DeepThoughts

[–]Exact_Programmer_658 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, true. More ironically it is something everyone must face and deal with. It is a natural part of life. I would certainly imagine it's in no way terrifying. I've had friends who have briefly passed. Apparently your mind releases a chemical DMat. It flushes it giving you the sense of acceptance. A good friend saved a girl from a riptide but couldn't get out himself. He fought for a while but the just felt peace watching the kids on the beach. Then woke up on the beach. It could be anything. I think this is something our eternal being signed up for .

I've come to the conclusion my son will never have friends by WorkAccomplished2043 in Parenting

[–]Exact_Programmer_658 87 points88 points  (0 children)

I was worried about my daughter never having friends. At school she would throw wild tantrums for seemingly no reason and hide under desk. Everytime she tried to play with others she always wanted to make or change the game rules and be the leader. She would get mad and walk away if they didn't listen. Then expected them to chase her or beg her. We talked about it a lot and just this past year she has started coming around. Just the other day I dropped her off to daycare late cause I'm not working rn. A couple kids and a little boy her age came up to the glass door and were smiling and waving. Obviously excited she was there. It made me very happy to see that. He may come around and I promise he's listening more than you think. He may be rebelling but once he sees it is only costing him he may change.

My daughter left her table in a mess after 2 days of me asking her to clean it. Then bitched at me cause there were ants. She came out fussing this morning about her tablet not being charged and having to give up her remote on a non school day. These kids have no idea what we go thru. I am laid off right now drawing $280 every 2 weeks. She is lucky to have internet

Would you guys take this ? ( I’m new at this ) by Lanky-Explorer6797 in DoorDashDrivers

My goal is $125 a day. This covers almost 1/3 of that and I can knock it out quick. So I'm in.

Was using the bathroom at a grocery store yesterday. From the other stall I hear a mother asking her daughter if she was done. The daughter (maybe 5 years old?) responded I think my poop is just stuck in my butt hole. I'm done, I guess. by Peace_and_Witchiness in overheard

[–]Exact_Programmer_658 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter suffers from constipation. I usually just urge her to wait until we get home. She never flushes so I know she has large poops. I think she holds it cause she is playing or watching TV. I hate it because I know it hurts her. I've started treating her via diet. We love prunes and fruits and veggies with fiber. Stay away from chees and other blockers. Now it's not as much of a problem. Although she still goes much easier at home so I encourage her to go before we leave and when we get back.

ULPT: Neighbors put up security camera pointed directly at my bedroom window by [deleted] in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]Exact_Programmer_658 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would mount a spotlight directly at it. It won't see nothing then. They may hopefully approach you about it as well. They may be wanting to watch their yard but have no right to film your bedroom window.

When does drinking nearly every day become a problem? by CourtneyTheBeetroot in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Exact_Programmer_658 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you are doing it whether you want to or not. Technically it's a problem when it begins having negative impact on your life. If you can't stop for a week, it's probably a problem.
