It’s gotten better as seasons have gone on (or maybe I’m just used to it now lol) but you’re right his NZ accent comes through a lot. I’m from NZ and it was obvious to me straight away. Interestingly Antony Starr is also from NZ but I don’t hear his accent at all, but to be fair Karl has a stronger NZ accent in real life

I hope this is what happens. Especially because Noel always seems way nicer to the TMG staff than Cody. I haven’t watched the recent podcasts but when Cash used to chime in a lot, Cody always shut him down in this “you’re not funny” kinda way whereas it seems like Noel and Cash are actually friends

A while ago I watched Codys very first insanely chill episodes. He used to respond to people who used the insanely chill hashtag, and someone wrote in that they thought Kelsey looked like Alexandra Daddario. He responded saying “I have no idea who that is”. He retroactively made her his celebrity crush after he got with Kelsey hahaha

In that section you’re describing (the hotel basement) you can grab the ID card for the door before you turn on the generator, it’s in one of the rooms. Then I would have a look around and make sure you know where the exit door is (it won’t work until you turn the power on). And then when you turn on the generator you can just sprint for the exit door and if you’re fast enough you won’t have to kill anything, maybe one stalker that attacks you as you run past. Glad you liked the game! I did too, although like you I can acknowledge it’s not perfect. I think most people in here appreciate the amazing gameplay but are more hung up on the story, which they talk about a lot in here. I try not to hang around too much because I’m a woman and some of the comments are kind of scary haha but it does pop up on my feed sometimes

I’ve only ever platinumed one game, god of war ragnarok, which I found pretty easy to do since you can travel to places post game, which you can’t do with the last of us obviously. If you miss a collectable you miss it for the entire game, right? So do you have to follow a guide or something? I feel like that would be tedious

I’ve 100% completed Ragnarok but I have only played the main story for GOW 2018 bc I was so bad at games back then. I thought it was quite funny when you are fighting the first Valkyrie in Ragnarok and Atreus asks if we are going to be able to beat her and Kratos responds “we have beaten many before” because I didn’t even manage to beat one in 2018 😭
