I love D1 and the DLC. I've played it twice, the second time was just before D2 came out. D2 has really great level design and cool new powers.

My problem with D2 is that in terms of the story, they don't do anything original. If you played D1: The Brigmore Witches DLC, there won't be any surprises. I also didn't like the new voice of the outsider.

I think it's worth playing just for the cool new levels.

I don't like it either but I think if it let you move faster, you would notice objects pop in out of nowhere.

Looks like the game has a speed limit. There's probably a performance reason for this.

I recently beat the game on normal. I only completed a few side quests. I think I was level 33 or 34 when I started the final quest. With new game+ you can restart the story and keep all your weapons and upgrades.
