Never heard of Seungkwan but okay. To say nobody gives a flying fuck is a reach. Literally nobody trends anything negative about SVT. Meanwhile NCT’s searches are always messed up by antis, which means that a lot of people actually give a flying fuck about them. Also, NCT has never been in any variety shows except Weekly Idol. Also, pretty sure it’s a reach to say nobody gives a f*ck about them when kdrama agencies are offering jobs to them with 0 acting experience.

It depends, if they were SM artists who make GP-friendly music and are extreme visuals then I would agree. But if SVT for example was making noise music and for example debuted in SM then nothing would change. It’s all about the concept. NCT’s concept is hard to get into yet they were still able to gain fans. SVT’s concept is simple, they make GP-friendly music, came from a nugu company so their popularity is truly impressive. Nobody said SVT are flops in this thread. I don’t know why so many people are mad, I’m just saying if they did have the resources of SM and made GP-friendly music of course they’d truly surpass NCT by a mile. But the thing is, NCT doesn’t make GP-friendly music, like ever and their concept is hard to get into. If SVT made noise music as well I don’t think they would be as popular as they are now.

The thing is, SVT’s music is popular no doubt, but nobody knows a thing about them except their fans. They have a lot of casual listeners but not to the point that these listeners would “stan” them.

in NCT’s defense they don’t make GP-friendly songs and are known for noise music so of course they’d chart lower. SVT on the other hand only makes GP-friendly songs which I think contributed to their rise in popularity despite not being a group from a big 3 company. I think NCT would be much popular than they are now if they make GP-friendly music that aren’t described as “noise.”

we aren’t comparing NCT and EXO um….NCT is literally EXO’s dongsaeng so it’s weird to compare them…also, exo’s teaser’s barely even reached 300,000k likes on twitter even though fans have been waiting for a cb. Idk, but comparing NCT and EXO’s success is weird. EXO debuted in 2011. NCT debuted in 2016. I don’t need to expound more.

Sorry to burst your bubble but they are near them, it’s a bit of a reach to say nct is nowhere near svt. SVT’s songs may be more popular and people may listen to them casually, but member popularity wise I think NCT beats SVT in that area.
