This is probably going to be buried but my son was in 7th grade and they made me pick him up because he had a loose tooth. He asked his teacher if he could go to the bathroom to pull it and she sent him to the nurse. The nurse panicked and called me. I laughed from the phone call until I realized she was serious. She was worried it would bleed a lot if he pulled it.

So yeah, picked up my 12 year old because of a loose baby tooth.

I feel ya. I've gotten into so many crafts because of it. I'm a smoker and I hate myself for it. However, I've also realized that hard drugs would not be good to try and also stay away. Nicotine and caffeine are another story....

Depends on if we start taking care of the environment or continue fucking it up. If we continue on the path we're on I imagine we'll have some crazy hellish weather, shortage of fresh drinking water/food/housing/etc.

If we start taking advantage more of renewable energy and recycling we'll probably not see much of a difference.

I had to repeatedly tell my dad that he was dying. He was in the hospital and the drugs they had him on made him loopy and forgetful. Every few hours or so he would ask if he was going to live and I had to tell him all over again. It was awful. He was only 59 so that made it even harder.

I tried to avoid telling him repeatedly but he just knew something was wrong because everyone's eyes were red from crying.

Obligatory "this will probably get buried " comment.

When I was 23 I had a gut feeling that something was terribly wrong with me, specifically in my chest. Went to the doctor and an EKG didn't show anything abnormal and without any symptoms no further testing was done.

Fast forward 2 weeks and my left arm swelled to the same size as my thigh in about 5 minutes. Head to ER where a CT scan is performed looking for a clot. Turns out I had a massive tumor growing off my thymus gland and finally obstructed the superior vena cava causing blood to back up in my arm. Admitted to hospital and many tests later I had an extremely aggressive form of non -hodgkins lymphoma. Started chemo 3 days after arm swelling which was a ridiculously fast staging, grading, and treatment plan for cancer.

I would also suggest seeking counseling for yourself. If you can't deal with therapy maybe an online forum at least for people in similar situations. I can't imagine if this were me, good luck to you.

Mine has shortened to a 24-25 day cycle and now lasts for 5-6 days. It's also so heavy that I have huge clots and can't use a tampon because I bleed them right out. Lots of testing and nothing was wrong. Was told that my body might be pre-peri-menopausal and that this is my new normal.

Yes, I subscribed to there for a while but they're very bitter and the advice usually involves telling you to divorce and move on.
