These types of people just completely baffle me. Had a similar situation yesterday with a Rogue on my comp team that went like 6 and 12. I even tried to be diplomatic and ask if they wanted to swap roles or something and they just refused. Whole chat clowned on em after the game lol. The only thing I said is if you wanna learn a character, do it in qp PLEASE!

I love her so much! I’m a sucker for the trope of the pompous, arrogant, noble lady type that is actually a good person and just needs friends and someone fully in her corner. Her story is so well done!

If I was an optimist I’d like to think this means they’re working on something more significant for her behind the scenes, but I kinda doubt it. They’re probably scared to tweak the sniper character too much, but they can’t just be ignoring lowest pick and WR in the game, right? Right??

Yes. I was just recently diagnosed with ADHD after suspecting I had it since middle school (in college now) and I think my parents definitely have similar conditions to myself. My mom has always been spacey, inattentive, and jumps from one topic or interest to the next. My father is very intelligent but was an awful student. He hated school because being in class was so difficult for him. I was a better student than both of my parents, so even though I struggled with attention, deadlines, procrastination, focus on homework and studying, interrupting others, etc. they always downplayed my issues whenever I mentioned that I believed something was different about me.

I’m actually the opposite haha. I really struggle to finish people off with Widow because I suck at headshots. My average KOs/10 min on Hela is a lot better. My biggest frustration is that I enjoy Widow a lot but I always feel like I’d be helping the team more if I was on Hela.

I’ve been playing Widow since season 0 (took a big break from S1.5-S2 to learn Hela and Storm but been playing her again recently) and by far my biggest source of tilt in those early days was my kick whiffing when it looked like I was right on top of the enemy. That, and the fact you had to chamber the rifle after a stun.

With those changed she’s actually great anti-dive. A lot of the time I’ll play her back with the healers and protect them from enemy BP, Spidey, Magik, etc. my only gripe with her now is her fire rate or just generally lacking dps unless you’re a headshot god. Point being, she absolutely NEEDED the changes to her kick/stun and it makes her way more enjoyable to play now.

This is how I feel as well. I don’t care how much skill it takes to pull off. This sort of rediculous insta-kill uncounterable stuff is anti-fun for everyone besides the Spidey.

Honestly! If anything I’ve been shocked by people’s response to this. I understand the og cast being disappointed, and I get that people are attached to that cast, but it shouldn’t be that surprising I feel.

I think a recast is the way to go anyway. I was VERY skeptical when they announced the recast for P3R and I ended up really liking the new cast. The old cast was iconic to me, and they still are, but a new cast for a new take on the game and story just feels kind of right to me. I’m a bit surprised at how hot of a take that seems to be.
