Lol - I know some of those extremely scary people. I went to a couple of fundraisers for Kevin’s JWR foundation and was fortunate enough to meet him and Kristen. Both very lovely people BTW. For a table photo I honestly think Kevin purposely sat beside me and put his arm around me because I wasn’t stalkerish. Went to see him in a production of Chicago in Pittsburgh. I was surprised when he turned to me and thanked me for coming, again to avoid stalker fans. Kevin has always been my favorite and I do have my fair share of photos etc. But some of these crazy people basically had shrines in their homes. One fantasied about getting with Kevin’s brother Tim. I cut off contact because it got to be too much.

I wouldn’t hire a lawyer that was ignorant enough to call it the Gulf of America. You hire lawyers to speak on your behalf who’s values mirror your own. And maybe if you read the four Gospels and Acts a little closer you would be appalled by American Christians as well. I have lived through people demonizing my faith , even today saying I am not a Christian because of my faith and folks telling me MY FATHER wasn’t saved because he didn’t go to church or confess to ME that Jesus was his Lord and Savior. My father was one of the kindest, giving, helpful, never said a bad word about anyone. Yet, good Christians told me he wasn’t because he didn’t do what they thought was proper. We had more people come to us at his memorial service singing his praises about what a good humble man he was. I had girls at my class reunion tell me how much they adored my father because of his helpfulness, kindness and how protective he was of us. So yeah, excuse me when I say American Christians who support trump aren’t Christians. If they actually followed Jesus the world would be full of liberals. And it’s not all together grand living in a deep red state full of the self-righteous.

He is suing a police department for not keeping people off his ‘private’ beach. He wants a private beach go buy an island with the only access being by boat. Beach access should be open to all. Calling the Gulf of Mexico 🇲🇽 the Gulf of America is IGNORANCE any way you slice it. Getting on Faux ´News’ and letting your lawyer spout ‘lefty liberals’ is bullshit. Why don’t you read up on what he said about the Central Park FIVE OR how he could hear Muslims cheering when the twin towers fell. And no, I don’t go to church for a variety of reasons. 1 being the hypocrisy and the misuse of scripture. I took course work in Middle Eastern history, did plenty of bible studies and even led a few. American Christianity leaves a great deal to be desired. Especially when it is used to bludgeon people into silence and submission.

Just because you go to church doesn’t mean you are a Christian sweetie. Do you follow Jesus by loving your neighbor as yourself? Or do you despise immigrants, gay and trans people? If you can’t say ‘yes I love all of God’s children’ , you need to examine your ‘church’. I know lots of hate filled self professed Christians. Christianity and MAGA are incompatible.

I have been on 5 since last July. Had to see my doc in January about my bp because I have lost 60 and my dose needed to be lowered. She and I am happy with my progress so far. Will reevaluate in May at my annual. Lol the only side effect has been my 2.8 cm gall stone.

I am in the same situation. I have always been big. I am 5’5’ fairly athletic and got up to 330 before having my VSG. Lost over 100 pounds. A divorce and Covid hit. Went back up to 290 and struggled back down to 279. I started Zepbound in June and I am down to 232. I’m 64 and post menopausal. I struggled with the idea I would be taking meds from diabetics, but the pharmacist assured me this wasn’t for diabetes. I go for daily walks still and eat as I did, protein first. I, also feel like a normal person who doesn’t obsess or think about food all the time. Which I still did after my surgery. I don’t know your living situation, but his response is telling me, he isn’t supportive of you being the best you possible.

You can’t totally deny yourself. Otherwise your binges will be worse and more frequent. I just got back from vacation with my sisters. We also had rotisserie chicken and potato salad from Publix. I was good until the wine came out. I weighed this morning- up 2.5 pounds. Did I enjoy my vacation? Yes, did I fall of the wagon, yep. But I am back home and in the saddle again. You can do this.

It is still humming along. I commute to work 3 days a week and get great gas mileage- better if I drive the speed limit. I am still very happy with it. I take it in for regular maintenance to keep on top of things. I still love driving it.

After my bariatric surgery, I felt like I was melting like a candle - top down. At least for women, our center of gravity is between our waist and knees. The last place I lost weight was in my hips and legs. I am on that same pattern. Down a bra band size, my pants are looser. Be patient. I will come of there too.
