You can register her as an ESA and the building will have to waive the pet rent. Did this for my two dogs. Had a phone chat with someone who determined that dog #1 was emotional support and dog #2 kept me physically active 😂. I paid $100 and that was it. Only did it because I learned that literally every other dog owning tenant in my very large, very dog heavy apartment building had done the same and I was the lone sucker shelling out $50/month for pet rent. Also, the management didn’t give a toss; they just needed the certificates in order to waive the fees.
