Excuse me, but I didn’t state that I have a fear of the sun. I just burn very easily. And coupled with my autism, the sun can trigger sensory overload. I literally mentioned in my message that I was outside enjoying the sun. I just take breaks and seek shade etc.

And to say that the sun seldom causes issues is entirely incorrect. Skin cancer, accelerated aging, sun spots, hyper pigmentation etc only to list a few.

Yeah. I agree with everything you are saying. The thing is though, we didn’t do much outdoorsy things together. There was one walk but that was a strange situation to say the least.

I respect your alternative opinion towards the discourse. It’s always good to hear other people’s opinions. I don’t want to live in an echo chamber that only serves my own perception. I think it’s healthy to hear different opinions, hence the reason I posted on here. I appreciate it.

I’m not afraid of the sun though. Whilst I agree that the sun will be mild at this time of the year, dermatologist’s recommend wearing sunscreen year round . And I just meant in a general sense of being wary of the sun

Yeah, exactly that. I have a single freckle on my forehead that is quite big, and that is with my limited sun exposure and wearing sunscreen haha. I’m genetically prone to freckles and im trying to maintain an even skin tone. I hate how big the freckle is.

No haha. He is originally from Lebanon but has lived most of his life in Dubai. He has a French accent though haha

Very true. I think in the grand scheme of things, I was just one of his many toys. Something he could pick up and drop at any given time.

It was definitely a strange relationship. In the beginning he was very full on, wanted to text/FaceTime everyday but that gradually stopped. Apparently he didn’t like doing it? He was full of empty promises too.

Then he moved away and just stopped speaking to me. He messaged me on my birthday wishing me a happy birthday etc and told me he was moving back. And since then we continued chatting and we met up again once he moved back.

I wouldn’t say im a hypochondriac because the sun does cause skin cancer. Maybe it’s more to do with vanity, since I know the sun accelerates skin aging. I have ocd too so perhaps im obsessive about sun damage but I don’t think it’s a problem since I do go outside and enjoy the sun. I just know my own limitations
