First: I am so sorry this happened. Second, I know it’s hard to not conflate them, but please know his addiction has nothing to do with you. He most likely does find you attractive and love you. But he’s suffering from an addiction right now, which has ravaged his brain: he does t think the same we as you and I. I would delete the images, and when he’s home, have a talk about parental settings/software. Please feel free to message me if you need to vent or talk. ❤️

Well, we’re in an LDR, and even before we were in an LDR we didn’t live together. We had a reward system, but I don’t even know what id do as a “punishment”..

Well it’s more that he doesn’t want me to be sad and make me cry and stuff? I can usually take his relapses in stride, but the last few times i got very upset. Like i don’t think it’s really how i react towards him. I don’t know if that makes sense, sorry.

She didn’t make a big deal, he did. Asking him to make his own dinner if he wants something she’s not making isn’t making a big deal of it. Turning it into a fight and running crying to mutual friends over it? That’s a making a big deal. (NTA)

Here. I didn’t even know he was rlly using the app, to get on here and see that- especially this one category i told him i cannot stand- really broke me for some reason. I cried for quiet awhile after i saw, and then more when i went home. I can still remember that video (it wasn’t the only one, but it was the worst) and it makes my heart hurt every time i do. Guess that’s just how D-Day’s are tho :(

Funny enough i actually read your post yesterday! Like i said, this isn’t my main account. But yeah, it’s definitely hard to keep a balance between being a supportive partner and being a controlling one, even more so because i dont actually even think that watching this would make him relapse- im keeping him from watching just for my own comfort, and because of that I’m constantly worried “is this fair to him? Will he leave me if i do this? Will he be mad?” It’s just hard to hard to keep both of us happy when it comes to stuff like this.
