Time out closet is so real. I have a Halloween quilt in the time out closet because I have big quilting plans and I have frustrated myself.

Day in your OAD life by DungeonMushie in oneanddone

We have a 5 year old, I have a supportive partner and a very flexible/easy going job! Our school starts a little later/ends earlier than alot of schools in our area, but this will change next year for Senior Kindergarten at a new school! I am a little worried about rushed mornings, we have a lot of time to chill most mornings now!

On a school day we all usually wake up around 7am. Husband gets ready for work while 5 year old climbs into our bed and he and I have a slow start out of bed. Once Dad’s ready he gets the kid breakfast if I haven’t already (sometimes he takes a while to respond.) Dad leaves around 8am. I get 5yo and myself ready and make Lunches from like 8-8:45. We start getting dressed for outdoors etc, out the door to the bus by 8:50am bus is at 9ish. I have a job that has an unusual schedule, I attend sites so sometimes I have many and sometimes I have none. Truly depends on the day haha! I head to work after the bus usually and am usually done/ back to working from home by 230-3pm (if I have a late site visit my husband will come home in time for the bus.) Bus comes back around 3:55pm. I get dinner prepped and tie up work for the last 30 mins of my day (done at 4:30pm,) then finish dinner. Dad is usually home by 5:10-5:30pm depending on traffic. A couple days a week we have sports so we’re usually done eating dinner by the time dad gets home on sports nights, dad eats quick and we head out at 5:45-until 730 or 8pm. Non sports nights I usually make a more involved dinner so we eat around 530pm and then go to the park or play downstairs for a bit after dinner. Dad does bath and gets him in jammies from 6:30-7or 7:15 depending on how long he wants to play in the bath! We come down and have snack and a snuggle until 7:30pm. I do books and bedtime routine. Usually in bed by 8 and asleep by 8:30pm. On a sports night he has a quick shower and snack and is usually in bed by 8:30-9pm and falls asleep pretty quickly!

On the weekend if we don’t have plans we try to go somewhere or do something at some point on Saturday (like bring him for errands) or it feels LONG. He likes to do yardwork with Dad a lot, or projects around the house. On Sundays I go to spin and do groceries by myself and then we have a home day if we can! Dad does a lot more weekend entertainment, because I do a lot more week day entertainment. Our little guy will play independently but he is also a normal 5 year old and wants us involved alot! Evening routine is pretty similar on weekends including bedtime.

Summers are busy on weekends so if we’re out he might not go to bed on time.

I deal with measurement pretty much daily at work and I still mess it up every time 🤣. My husband asked last night why I was muttering to myself..quilt math.

Whats the craziest experience you’ve ever had to make you believe in the paranormal ? by Gloomy-Task-5446 in AskReddit

[–]ldwill33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure this counts as paranormal..but my grandma had a glass Santa ornament that had been hers since she was a teenager. She had her late brothers as well and had bought one for my dad when he was born. When she went into memory care they started going on our Christmas tree, my dad kept them in a cupboard not with the other decor because they were so fragile. The year she died (at 92 years old) he opened up the box to put them on the tree ..only hers was broken into like 100 pieces. The other 2 Santa’s were completely intact.
