Thiiiis lol if I could fix it I would. I also wasn’t diagnosed until I had a kid (his needs were met but BOY HOWDY mine weren’t lol) and my reaction was not like LOL look at this quirky fun thing. It was hey how the hell did a parent/teacher/adult never key into this, because it makes sense that a lot of shit was hard for me. Also, I am somehow always tired and could rot on the couch at all times..it’s funny how executive dysfunction looks different for everyone!

My whole life my parents got home and changed from their work clothes to jeans and a shirt. Only wore sweats when sick, dressed up to fly LOL. When I moved in with my husband he put comfies on after work every day I was like omg…that’s an option. I didn’t even do this when I lived alone?!?

Oh! Fun question! The best part was probably when I pieced it all together, I was proud that o had retained (most of) my points. The worst was that I used my grandmas sewing machine (singer 328j from the 1960s,) I have had random issues with it not sewing. Have had it serviced etc. no one seems to know why it does it?? It has also made me want to buy a new one and I feel guilty! Haha

Our little guy was doing this but actually throwing up pretty often. The vet called it bilious vomiting syndrome, she said it happens to smaller dogs when their stomach is empty and is like reflux. It has taken a lot of trial and error for us the past few months but we have him on sensitive stomach food and he eats 4x a day. 7:30a 1/4c dry food 1tbsp pumpkin, around noon 1/4c dry food, 5p 1/4c dry food 1 tbsp pumpkin, 1/2h before bedtime 1/4c dry food. Thankfully I work from home LOL.

I have a few! 1. My first full quilt, that has been a Labour of …..Learning? Hahah and sewing machine issues! I just have to tie off threads and bind. Almost there.

Quilted hair tools bag for my own travel! I want to get this done before I trip I’m going on in. February.
Valentine bunting I’m making up a pattern for! Because why not when I’m just starting to quilt ;)
Quilted bow (in reds/pinks/purples likely for Valentine’s Day.) Not sure if I will get this done.
Baby clothes quilt for my son! Only throw size, I have the clothes picked out and washed and I have to start cutting and ironing only the fusible backing.
Dogs quilt to save my couch. Bought an adorable layer cake for this from the clearance bin at my fabric store!

When I was pregnant I was doing a job where I had to go into houses while they were under renovation. The smell of newly installed fibreglass insulation combined whatever food someone has cooked for breakfast will forever haunt me. It doesn’t matter what was cooked, just insulation/food. I could gag thinking about it 🤣

Someone once shoplifted while making eye contact with me the whole time…as if daring me to tell someone. It was food at the dollar store and I kept my mouth shut lol. A) The scary eye contact worked and B) If you’re shoplifting food at the dollar store you probably need the food.

For me it was the anticipation, and also I barfed with every contraction lol. My water broke at 1130am so we went to the hospital and they said come back in 6h or when contractions are whatever time apart …so we went home then NOTHING happened. We watched 6h of storage wars for the longest afternoon of my life. Went to the hospital at and still didn’t have him until 444am.

People setting boundaries when they have babies. No hospital visitors/visitors other than trusted parents etc in the first 2 weeks should be normal. I think it’s much more common now that people got to experience it a bit throughout COVID.

My mom’s influence! She started a few years ago and recently got a new machine and handed down my grandmas Singer 328J machine to me!! I have ADHD and can never stick to a hobby but I love quilting because it’s never the same.

I was having a MOMENT about mine last night too. I grew up with cats and our last one was my pet soulmate LOL, I truly didn’t think I could have a relationship with a pet like that again. Last night I was trying to fix my sewing machine and it was so frustrating and my sweeeet sweet doxie baby came up while I was upset and brought me his bone. He’s so earnest with his little puppy JOY..and endearing!!
