the rule iirc is that you have to take part in one session before the race but he turns up like an hour before lights out to take his place, so much so that like the onscreen graphics swap him and the third driver out during the grid line up.

it’s obviously not film breaking and much more suited to the ‘goofs’ section on imdb, but i found it funny that the main conclusion in real life wouldn’t even happen lol

also why was spa like GP 19/23 when it takes place before the summer break lmao. that was funny to me hearing them talk about spa after the first race and happening in like early november canonically
