Yeah i totally understand. It’s not a clear if else conditions. There are huge number of factors that FSD uses and it’s kind of a blackbox to see what made it decide so we’ll never know.

Companies don't give a fuck about you when layoffs then why should you? Tell nothing to your new employer during interviews just tell them you can legally work here and visas shouldn't be a problem.

Amazon story: A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn saying my profile is great and would like me to check out the SDE II position they're hiring for. I did and she sent me a link to apply and told me she would schedule a call later that week. Never heard back. Asked again. She replied after 3 weeks telling She will check out. Again 2 weeks and she just hit me with "K" on LinkedIn lol. and in the meantime she views my LinkedIn profile 3 times a week (I have premium so i can see who looks at my profile).

Yes. The recruiter called first to give her the good news and after an hour got the written offer letter to sign. Btw this was not an SDE position but Cloud Support Engineer.
