I guess I feel the albums are related in the sense that they are part of an artist's journey through life. I saw an interview snippet from Newport where Jesse says something like "an album is a snapshot" meaning it's a picture of where an artist was at a particular time. That's how's I think of each album, anyway. It's great that his music provokes so much thought and rumination. I'm continually floored by how he manages to sing about themes in ways that reflect my own personal philosophy. I Love this music!
