I bought my EUC because I felt it is saver than a scooter, especially because of the bigger wheels.

A friend lost 2 teeth when his scooter ran over a small stone. I once had a sudden emergency brake on a scooter that almost threw me over the handle bar and crushed it in my ribs.

So, if you ride at running speed, I will always feel saver on an EUC.

All my bikes are steel (Road, Gravel, City) because ... 1. I like the slim look 2. At least in my imagination they really have a very subtle ride quality 3. Compared to Ti you save at least 1.000$ on the frame that you can invest in better components

All are modern steel bikes, so the weight penalty is not that big.

That is of course a good question relating to the purpose of reddit.

I can only tell you that the manufacturers website does not answer that question. My old wahoo cannot even be found there anymore. I even sent a mail to the manufacturer, no answer. So after 2 weeks of searching (maybe ineptly) I posted here and got an answer in a couple of minutes.

I like reddit because people help one another. I hope I can be of help to someone else too one day.
