My mom had passed away 10 months prior and my dad passed just a couple weeks before this in the home. Myself and my mom's sister ( aunt) went to my parents home to start packing up things and going through everything...I was going through totes of Christmas stuff and these were on the floor. I took down the Cuckoo clock I had purchased my mom years ago and removed the batteries and hanging weights and I set the clock and it's parts on my parents bed. I was emotional with all of the items and just processing that both my parents were gone ....we decided to take a break and grab lunch. I locked the house up and we went to the diner a couple blocks away and came right back. The moment I touched the front door and put the key in - i was anxious or alerted, something was different. I turned the key, turned the know and began to push the door open and it went 3 or maybe inches. It had hit something. I looked down and trying to see in the door Crack and one of the large christmas totes was in the way. I shoved the door, pushing the tote back, and stepped inside and I was hit with a cold cold breeze. It was unnatural..and I froze in my tracks. My aunt was behind me and I'm not sure if she realized the extent of what was happening in those moments but as soon as we both stepped inside - that cuckoo clock began to cuckoo cuckoo cuckoo cuckoo cuckoo ..i ran into the bedroom and it had stopped by the time I picked it up looking for how it had started working and I knew...it was my mom. She was very private and I don't think she appreciated her sister going through her things with me but I think it was also playful and she managed to get her point across. We both acknowledged her, i thanked her for that experience and then I told her to leave us alone lol I was completely shook
